I finished the series up this weekend and I must say..... Holy ****.

I can't even explain it. It's so different from anything I've seen in Toku in awhile.

From episode 1 I thought this was going to be really stupid but by the time I got into the characters, the comedy, the drama, and the storyline I was hooked for the 13 episodes.

The finale was without a doubt one of the greatest in Toku History. Probally the best I've seen since Ryuki to be honest. None of that happy ending **** that we are always fed when it comes to Toei, Tsuburaya, or Toho.

The ending alone left me in shock yet I had a smile on my face in the very end (Virgin no more!).

I watched Fuun Lion Maru long before this which is what actually pushed me into checking this series out. I recommend it for everyone. This is definatley for young adults and not for kids. Extremely perverted aswell.

Saori is just OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH BOOBS!.

How are we always fed happy endings? Especially with Kamen Rider, they loved screwing their main characters over for the longest time until Den-O, even Sentai on occasion.

G was a good series, but way too short. I especially didn't like Lion-Tiger, I thought he would have been an awesome villain if this was a 26 episode series. I hope we get a sequel out of it one day, it was a fun ride while it lasted.

The majority of Toku I've watched throws me a ending where everyone is smiling and somehow everyone survives. This was the opposite.

ShishiTora would have made an amazing arc villian no doubt about it. Or even a General for Gousan. BTW wasn't that Keitarou from 555?.

The Swankees were still my favourite I loved the face paint. I wish some collectable action figures would be released.

I also had a question what was that small place that Shishimaru would sleep in? It had the xmas lights and a small tv and such.

Shishimaru lived in a capsule hotel. I don't think there are any outside of Japan, so that's probably why you're not familiar with the set up.

KAIDO! That's it. I remembered him from Faiz but it's been a long time since I watched it. Dunno why I fucked his name up. But I totally agree he would have made a much more better villian had he been given an arc or something. It was a complete waste to be honest.

Capsule Hotels look cozy. Well Shishimaru made it look like that. I'd fully live in one.

The Singer Host from Dreamin' made me laugh my ass off big time.

Like I said this series it pretty jokes. I am surprised I enjoyed it as much as I did.

Now if only I could get my hands on Kaiketsu Lion Maru then I'd have the entire Trilogy.

Lion Maru G was definitely amazing. Who doesn't like flawless action mixed in with that Shishimaru hilarity? It was unique and definitely gave me a little shot of goodness.

I'll always feel sorta connected with this show, haha. It was the first show I helped sub, technically.

I'm glad more people are now able to appreciate the series thanks to the hard work everyone who worked on this series put into subbing it. Usually my recommendations of good series fall on deaf ears, so I was ecstatic when Kagami and everyone accepted LMG as EJF's first project.

I also wish the series was a bit longer too. I keep hoping for a sequel some day because that ending lends to one so very well. The only thing I was really disappointed in about the show though was the lack of, at least a cameo from, Tetsuya Ushio, the original Shishimaru.

Anyway, Kazuki Namioka may have been awesome as Demon Knight, but he shined as Shishimaru. I'm told his real life personality is much closer to that of Shishimaru actually. He apparently didn't need to do much acting to play him. :laugh:

I loved Lion Maru G up until the last episode. It just didn't fly with me I guess. Far too over the top in terms of violence and it wasn't done for any really good reason other than shock value.

Don't get me wrong, I love the series, but the last episode left a very bad taste in my mouth. The final battle was a big let down too. :disappoin

I agree that it should have been a longer series. I can't help but feel like they really handicapped themselves by having the show be only thirteen episodes. There was so much more they could have done, more fun stories to tell and a lot more development that could have been explored.

Lion Maru G is a good series, sad one too. Much humor, especially Omaru(?)-san's friend. I was hoping we could see either Jounosuke or Shishimaru use Lion Tiger.

Wait, so you've seen Faiz and you still think the majority of Toku has happy endings?
