We must report that Life is still Strange. A new sequel to the supernatural mystery series was confirmed during Summer Games Fest yesterday, and this time it’s a REAL one — meaning it’s got Max Caulfield in it. The game takes place a few years after the original Life Is Strange game. Max is now a college student, and wouldn’t you know it, one of her new friends dies horribly. When she tries to use her powers to go back in time and prevent the murder, she discovers they’ve changed: instead of rewinding, Max now has the ability to split dimensions and visit a version of reality where her friend lived. Max hopes to solve the mystery by traveling between both worlds to pin down the identity of her friend’s killer. So, the million dollar question: where is Chloe Price? Your actions in the first game affected the ending, where Chloe either lived or died. is it canon that Max saved Chloe, or not? The trailer doesn’t go into it.

I never thought this game will have sequels because its so niche and its from the team who created "Remember me" which is a good game but its a flop. It takes some mechanics of "remember me" and make it work.

This sequel announcement brought back so many memories of playing the original Life is Strange. Trying to save Chloe had me on the edge of my seat. I wonder how Max's past choices will play out in Double Exposure. The whole "alternate realities" thing is a cool twist. Can't wait to see how it affects the story.

Max is back, that's great... but where's Chloe? The trailer didn't show her at all, and it makes me nervous. Remember that gut-wrenching decision in the first game? I chose to save Chloe, and the thought of them not being together after all that is... ugh. Maybe they'll address it in the game, maybe there's a reason Chloe isn't around. Here's hoping they do her character justice. Because honestly, Life is Strange wouldn't be the same without their bond.

I loved the first game, and Max's journey of self-discovery and dealing with the weight of her powers was unforgettable. This new twist with splitting dimensions is exciting! It opens up so many possibilities for the narrative and gameplay. Will Max have to make even tougher choices now, with the consequences affecting two realities? I'm also curious about the new characters, especially the friend whose death triggers the whole mystery.

Pre-orders are open, you say? This is where things get tricky. Standard, Deluxe, Ultimate... so many options! The Deluxe Edition with the artbook and soundtrack sounds tempting, but the Ultimate Edition with the behind-the-scenes content is calling my name. Ugh, decisions, decisions. The "Collectors Edition" though? That one leaves me scratching my head. An artbook and soundtrack without the game itself? I get wanting to offer premium items, but that feels like a missed opportunity. Maybe they could've included a special in-game item or cosmetic as a bonus for the Collectors Edition instead

Life is Strange is back! This reminds me of that awesome fan theory about Max's powers evolving over time. Maybe the "split dimensions" thing is a nod to that? You guys should check out that theory online, it's pretty mind-blowing

$30 for early access? Yikes. I might just wait for the full release and grab the Deluxe Edition instead. Still gets me the bonus goodies without the spoilers.

This kinda ruins the hype for me. Remember the discussions and theories after each episode of the original Life is Strange? Now only a select few will have that experience early. Feels like a cheap tactic to squeeze extra money out of fans.Early access is tempting, but spoilers are a nightmare. Maybe I can convince a friend to grab the Ultimate Edition and share the experience...

This early access approach might work for some games, but for a narrative-driven experience like Life is Strange, it feels like a misstep. Square Enix should consider alternative monetization strategies that don't fragment the player experience
