Hey Bro-Ridah2,

I used my old duty jacket, just took off all the patches. It's a "Paratrooper, or M1A Bomber" type jacket IIRC.

Thanks for the belt props...however, I still need to add some stuff to it "here and there"...wasn't easy bro.:shakefist

Anyway, appears as if I am going "backwards"...check it out...kinda going back into The FIRST!:sweat:

The gloves came out bright due to taking pics with the...*gulp*...flash.:disappoin I might just "dirty 'em up" a bit with some drk blue, and that'll be that. The helmet is actually black, but for some reason, the gloss turned kinda...faded looking where I had all the initial "Battle Damage", so that's cool. You can kinda see it in some of the cr*ppy pics. I dunno, I kinda like this dark blue mouthpiece and armor.

I would do The FIRST...all I gotta do is re-paint the armor and mouthpiece, but man alive, what do I do about not having them "PINK eyes"???:sly:

If you can darken the gloves a bit, I think you're finally there.

What would the guys at work thing if one day you showed up dressed like that? Like started punching prisoner's and yelling "t'oh!" while you did it.

...The FINAL "suit"...

Howzit ALL,

Welp, for those of you who have been keeping track of my confusion, first of all, thank you. :buttrock: This is how my KR1 "Battle Worn" suit last looked:

However, I just was not happy with the armor and mouthpiece color...:disappoin That being said, I decided to make my OWN KR1 "concept suit", instead of trying to duplicate the KR1 suits currently out.:sweat: I always envisioned KR1's suit to be "darker", and looking more like the all black, armored Batman suit, or even like Batman Beyond...

I "Henshined" into my KR1 suit shown above, and yelled out like KR Brakku would:

"Yeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaagggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!"

Not only did the neighbor's call the cops, and my throat hurt, BUT my suit ended up looking like this:

I call it the, "KR1 CS"...Kamen Rider 1 Concept: Shunsoku! (BTW, "Shunsoku" means speed...as in "Clock up" S-P-E-E-D!!!:buttrock:

THIS is the end result of my KR1 "Battle Worn" Helmet. I painted the mouthpiece a higher gloss black to catch the detail of the mouth shapes. Also, if ya look at some of the pics carefully, there is a teal-ish line running across the body armor. On the helmet, there is one teal-ish stripe on each side, and if ya look even closer, you can see the "jointed fingers" like they have in The FIRST and The NEXT.

*Ahem*...to stay on topic, be advised that when ya wear this helmet, it feels like your head is trapped in a sauna. The wiring is connected with masking tape, AND don't bother trying to get spare antennae from the seller on ebay...they'll just ignore you.

Just out of curiosity, could you post a recipe for your costume? Like how you did the gloves/boots and chest piece?

I'm really giving serious thought to trying to make a the first version of rider 2.
