RSR, my knowledge of Mozilla is limited. I would suggest switching to IE or Firefox to be able to read Japanese.
Regarding levels, I think it depends who you talk to. I've noticed some use 'academic' levels, where intermediate means you're already able to handle daily life conversations and lecture. I think what RSR refers to is 'even class' levels, where standards are usually lowered.
For Japanese I tend to think in terms of beginner, beginner-intermediate, intermediate-advanced, advanced ... coinciding roughly with JLPT 4-1.
