I've noticed the similarities for these VG covers before. But mainly for the NES Metal Gear and Contra. >.>

You should try out Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake for the MSX. It's a real badass game.

Rofl, yeah, I've seen these. I always thought it was kind of awesome. Connery's not the only one in MG2, btw. Everyone, from Snake down to Fox and apparently Big Boss is basically a celebrity of some sort (Pettrovich is Einstein IIRC)
