Yeah, kid's lucky he didn't get his head blown off. But I doubt any of us would have been able to do that at his age.

The kid is lucky that the robber wasn't so high on drugs that he ended up shooting the kid. As for it being a "bad ass" story, no it's not. As a parent I can imagine the fear the mother had when she saw her four-year-old son "fend off" someone with a gun.

It isn't in that it was a situation of extreme danger or even potential fatality, and it is in that even a child that young has the kind of moral and courage to stand up to several (armed) people 3 times his size when his family was being threatened. Did the kid only do it because he couldn't comprehend that he was actually in serious danger? Maybe, it was just instinctual. Could he have actually done anything to stop them had they decide to start shooting? No, it would've been a bloodbath. But the fact that he was brave enough to try, and not to just take that kind of **** sitting down, now that's something we can all look up to.

This was almost a double edge sword for PR and toku in america. I mean if they had shot the kid, wouldn't PR get into some trouble? I mean they should really show the "stunts performed by trained stunt men, don't try this at home" again. Luckily it wasn't the case and it helpled PR cuz it scared of villains and taught kids about moral and values.
