[GAME] Kamen Rider: W,OOO,Fourze: Legacy

Shagon was starting to tire of these guys already. The fact that Keila wasnt having much more luck then he was unnerved him when he saw how she was fairing. Then he saw one of the combat-roids she was fighting get thrown into a pillar then she spoke to Shagon.

"Fourze, start pushing them around!" OOOs called to her comrade. She twisted away from another assault and came away holding a blue metal. "If we can get this fight into OSTO, we'll have all the reason to look around that we need."

Shagon liked the sound of that. But he had to do some clearing before he could even attempt to do that. Thats when he got an idea.

"Got ya. Leave it to me." He said as he pulled out the drill astro switch from the driver and revealed another astro switch. The #9 Hopping astro switch was placed is the left leg slot and he turned it on.

"Hopping On!" Soon his left leg forms into a spring and Shagon balances on it.

"Ok then lets try this." He hops up and begins boucing in place then leans forward and aims for the first combat-roid on the left and slams the spring into its chest sending it flying back into a wall. He regains control of the spring and balances himself once more and reaches for the control handle and pulls it forward like before. But this time the driver utters two words that all Kaijin fear.

"LIMIT BREAK!"

Underneath the mask Shagon smirks at the 3 remaining combat-roids. "RIDER BOUNDING SLASH KICK!"

Shagon hops on the spring and bounds over to a wall on the right and uses it to launch off of and aims the chainsaw on his right foot at the three combat-roids. The launch was powerful enough to increase Shagon's speed while flying at them that the combat-roids didnt have time to dodge the attack. He drives the chainsaw blade at incredible speed across their chests causing endless amounts of sparks to fly off of them. Shagon lands back on the ground and shuts down the two leg astro switches as he makes touch down on the ground. He turns to see the combat-roids fall to the ground with screams. Then a large explosion engulfs them leaving little left when the smoke clears. He looks back at the one that had been knocked into a wall and activates the Rocket astro switch.

"Rocket On!" A red rocket forms on his right arm and ignites propelling him at the combat-roid still stuck in the wall. Flying straight at its chest and making contact the combat-roid and Shagon are both now airborne and Shagon has redirected the two of them at one of the windows to the OSTO. Shagon waits till they are just a few steps away from the window and then shuts down the rocket astro switch and lands on the ground letting momentum carry the combat-roid straight through the window crashing into the building. He turns back to Keila and speaks.

"I'll leave the rest to you I got the one in the building. See ya inside when your done here." With that he turns back to see the combat-roid trying to stumble out the way he came in but Shagon rushes the combat-roid and spin kicks him back inside then jumping through the window and begins fighting the combat-roid inside the OSTO making sure to avoid civilians getting in the way.

((Quick note: I've never watched X before, so if Cadeus doesn't have energy blasts in that show (and given the era I doubt he would) consider this an upgrade to him. Also, all of Bryce's dialogue is in German this post, so I'm just translating it to English for reader convenience (Barring certain stronger curses)))

Bryce had no sooner removed his Gaia Memory than the cat creature he was facing blasted it out of his hand, "Ah, scheisse!" The Deutschman shouted as the right half of his suit started dissolving, "I REALLY hate green, too." He muttered, inserting the Cyclone Memory, causing the Driver to shout the new combo name and a green burst of energy to replace the fading red armor, "Like, really, kitty, you have no clue how much I hate green." He said, catching the cat's claw his left hand and twirling the kaijin around with a burst of wind energy out of his right, all the while taking two backwards steps, "I don't know why, really," he said deflecting the cat's next attacks before kicking its leg out from underneath him, and taking another three steps, two back and a left, "There are a lot of things I don't know, actually." he said, "My dad," a half step right interrupted by a swirling kick at Cadeus' center mass, "Whatever the Hell you are," Another two backsteps and a right uppercut caught by the Kaijin, who tossed the Kamen Rider off balance, "Hell, I don't even know how I know what you're going to do." He said, catching himself and doing a backflip, before switching back to Japanese, "But there are two things I can tell you for certain."

The monster snarled, "Oh, and what are they, Rider?"

"One. You didn't understand a thing I just said." he kicked something behind him into the air with his heel, catching it with a flick of his arm, "And two. That you just lost." With a single gesture, the German slotted the newly retrieved Heat Memory into the Maximum Drive slot and slapped the button.

HEAT!! MAXIMUM DRIVE!! The Driver shouted as a humanoid mass of fire appeared alongside him and delivered a flaming punch while he himself clenched his left fist and delivered another uppercut, launching the Kaijin into the air and destroying it, "Memory Break: Wildfire Joker."

"Geez, man!" Birth grunted. "Was it something that I said? You really need to chill out already!"

His words did little to stem the incoming wall of flame and pain that was presently ripping into his armored arms and legs. He ignored the warnings flashing against the HUD and the alarms blaring in his ears. The armor could take this kind of punishment regardless of what any fancy computer system said.

As he spoke, Birth plucked a silver medal from his belt's side and fed it into the hungry Driver. Two more joined it.

"Your tenacious arrogance is tiring, boy." As he spoke, the torrents of flame never ceased to erupt from Prometheus' palm. "That you struggle against us is but a sign of your own incompetence. We are but warriors of a previous generation now acting as the vanguard for a great, new power. You have no hope of standing against them."

Birth rolled his eyes in response. "Blah, blah, blah. Generic villain speech. Well, I've got a rebuttal for you that consists of two little words:" BREAST CANNON.

The mechanization erupted from the Driver, twisted about in the air, and the reformed into a powerful chest cannon. The cannon connected solidly to Birth's chest, who grabbed the trigger and squeezed. A burst of purple flame tore free of the cannon's fixture and swept straight through the flame towards the flaming monster.

Prometheus was left scrambling to evade the assault. With no recourse, the creature leaped backwards, attempting to flip over the fireball and position himself for a counter attack. The attempt failed almost before it had begun as the Crane Arm cabled about his body and pulled itself taunt.

Another silver medal fell into the Birth Driver. Behind his helmet, Birth grinned at the coming end to this fight. He yanked on the Crane's line, pulling Prometheus in close like a fish on a line. A blazing silver snarl of energy erupted from Birth's fist.

"Rider Punch!"

Birth slammed his fist into Prometheus' chest. The kaijin shrieked as the energy detonated against his skin and enveloped him.

"Yours is a stagnant race... you can never... hope to stand against us." Prometheus heaved the words at his opponent. "We have... evolved!"

"Just die already."

There was an explosion, and then Prometheus did.

"Fourze, wait!"

Gah, it was too late. OOOs started forward to assist her comrade in shutting down the android but was cut off as her four opponents regained their senses and cut her off.

OOOs chafed at the delay. Fourze was reckless. There was no telling what trouble could be caused by that kind of weaponry. Further, they were under orders to keep their identities secret. If Fourze got cocky and canceled the transformation too early...

There was no way around it. In order to get in there and supervise Fourze, she had to get past these four enemies first. OOOs took a breath and then hunkered down. It was time to get serious. The tiger claws snapped forward, ready to wreak havoc on her foes.

Just as she finalized her plan, the androids made their move. The first two charged at her. Another burst of liquid from the Orca helmet sent them stumbling backward while another burst from the Grasshopper legs sent her rocketing forward. Her claws met the chest of the right android and buried themselves in his chest. OOOs wrenched them around, causing as much damage as she could before pushing him forward, off of the claws, and into the path of the two reenforcement androids.

A solid kick to the face knocked the only other foe over, and the four soldiers were now entangled in a hopelessly convoluted pile. OOOs bounced backwards, flipping backward, up into the air and back down a short ways away from her fallen foes.

She plucked the Scanner from her belt and ran it over the Driver. ORCA! TIGER! GRASSHOPPER! SCANNING CHARGE!

Power welled up within her as the medals fueled her every move. It demanded release. A primal, animalistic, roar left OOOs mouth as she gathered that energy and rolled it into one devastating attack.

Again, the Grasshopper legs propelled her into the air as a trio of colored energy rings superimposed themselves between herself and the target. As OOOs passed through the first, blue, ring, a raging tsunami erupted from the ground and rose to crest beneath her extended right foot. The yellow ring added razor-thin claws to the tip of the tidal wave. The green ring added an intense burst of speed to the mix and sent her rocketing down into the group of hapless soldiers.

The bestial roar congealed into two words: "RIDER KICK!"

There was the crash of surf and the sound of metal on metal, and then the entire area exploded. As the smoke cleared, all that remained of the fight was a pile of scrap metal and one unharmed Masked Rider OOOs.

OOOs turned her attention away from the fight and then bounded off to the roof of the OSTO complex. She needed to get out of sight and then cancel the transformation. They needed to capitalize on this distraction while they could.

The two Kaijin were no more thanks to the efforts of Hogan and Bryce. Unfortunately casualties were heavy with five officers dead and several others injured. Sara pulled herself up, much to the amazement of those present, and stumbled toward the two riders. ”You two…who the hell are you exactly!?” She was clearly not happy, though this was most likely because of the Guild members sudden transformations.

”Belmont!” Tsubaki ran over to her partner and examined her injuries, much to the younger woman’s embarrassment. The two would most likely notice a few drops of Sara’s blood drip to the ground, though neither would know what to think of it. The blue haired girl had white blood, and her injuries seemed to be slowly healing before their eyes. Tsubaki glanced at the two riders and then looked around as medical personal began to swarm the area before speaking in almost a whisper. ”We should head back to your guild hall. I think we have a lot to discus, and I would rather not do it in a police interrogation room surrounded by angry cops.” She was right; especially considering the two men were equipped with what amounted to full body weapons, and this Sara Belmont was probably not a normal human.

Before the Futto P.D. had a chance to ask any questions or apprehend the riders, they were long gone with the female NSA agents. Bryce and Hogan knew protocol for situations like this and sent the warning call to Sakuya as they approached the Café. Kotone locked the hall’s computers just in case and covered up any signs that they had hacked NSA files and information. The four entered the hall and were met by a reluctant Sakuya.

”Agent’s Tsubaki and Belmont correct? I wasn’t expecting a pair of agents to seek refuge from the local authorities. Then again I also didn’t expect one of you to be a cyborg and that you are both moles for the U.N.” Tsubaki turned white when she heard Sakuya’s words and Sara gritted her teeth and clenched a fist. Sakuya raised her hand passively and spoke with an unconcerned tone. ”Don’t worry; we won’t inform anyone of your identities. If anything this means we can work together with less concern for betrayal. Now, shall we exchange information?”

Tsubaki calmed down significantly upon hear this, but Sara was still very tense. The more experienced of the two agents, Tsubaki began a long exchange with Sakuya regarding events at hand

”First of all, how do you know our identities? I mean, our real identities.

”We hacked the NSA’s computer main frame. We noticed you guys had been trying the same with no success, but then you lot don’t have Kotone or our level of tech.”

”You didn’t answer my question…unless-“

”Sorry Tsubaki; you and Sara were compromised about a month ago. There is a heavily encrypted file tucked away in the NSA data banks that outlines pretty much everything about you two.”

Sara bashed her fist into the table, cracking the solid wood from the power of her blow before speaking out in similar level of frustration. ”Damn it! Then half the information we’ve gathered could be falsified! No wonder it’s felt like we’ve been going in circles!”

Tsubaki put a hand over Sara’s called fist and the blue haired woman calmed down a bit, but still didn’t sit down. At this point, Sakuya shared the information Kotone had gathered and waited for Tsubaki’s input. What she had to say did little to comfort the guild members present.

”The former KGB agent was one of ours. That is to say he was with the UN’s investigation team. We brought him in to help move the NSA’s investigation into Klaussner along, but things got out of hand. Where to start? A few months ago the UN received information that accused the NSA of working with OSTO to develop a new generation of anti-kaijin weaponry. This took the form of not only cybernized personal, but also cosmic energy powered androids. That goes way beyond the NSA’s limit on armaments, but we had no solid proof. Me and Sara were sent in to investigate undercover and found a few signs that something was going on in the NSA’s hierarchy. We were close to a break through when Klaussner came onto the scene with a new organization at his back. He seemed to have received the same information we had and wanted a piece of the action. We assume that is why he stole the CS funnel, which we believe was meant to be equipped to an android. While busting the NSA for weapons violations was our mission; taking down Klaussner took precedence. Before we knew it our guy on the inside was dead, and we were being attacked by last a Hyena and Cat man.”

This was all bad news. At least it didn’t seem the NSA were working with a known terrorist, but then it did seem odd that Sara and Tsubaki were sent to retrieve a body that was being targeted by not one, but two kaijin. Was it possible they were being set up to take a fall while in the line of duty in hopes of removing the dup from the equation? But if that was the case then why did the NSA bother to bring Guild into the mix? Something was definitely fishy, and three guild members had been sent straight into the thick of it.

Sakuya nodded to Bryce, signaling him to go after Mari and his fellow riders. They might be in greater danger then they had originally predicted. As Bryce headed out, Masanori tossed him a yellow switch from the door of his lab. ”Tell that punk not to use it unless he has too. We still don’t know what it will take to control that level of energy output. And be careful…this is looking pretty grim.”

With that Bryce was sent on his way. Hogan thought to follow but Sakuya stopped him and motioned for him to follow her. Once they were in private she spoke with a serious tone. ”Something still doesn’t add up. Klaussner is good…probably too good to let that agent get as far as he did with something he really wanted. That, and if the NSA is trying something this stupid I doubt they would call on us to help, unless they got in over their heads. I’m thinking they weren’t satisfied with letting Guild handle threats like this on our own any more then OSTO was about the heavy regulations on their cosmic energy research. So they started working on these new weapons when suddenly Klaussner shows up with a bunch of their weapons tech in his possession. Somebody has been leaking info, and the NSA knows the UN is already a few steps away from busting their asses. So they bring us in to clean up the mess while they sweep their dirty laundry under the rug. Which is exactly what Klaussner wanted to begin with: us.” Sakuya takes a cigarette from her desk and looks toward Hogan with a stern glare. ” If that is the case…if all this was just to get at us…then we have to play this very gently. Even with the NSA’s main frame at our finger tips we still don’t have enough evidence to expose them. For now we need Klaussner to think we are still clueless so I want you to head over to the NSA office and poke around. If you think you’ve found someone who knows anything, anything at all…”

Sakuya lights her cigarette and takes a long draw before a bit of blood lust enters her eyes. ”…then gloves off Hogan. Nobody messes with me or my people. Nobody. Do what you have to do. Understood? Take Belmont with you to keep up appearances and to get past the front door. She doesn’t seem like the kind of person to mind a little blood shed, but keep your guard up around her just in case. I’ll keep Tsubaki here for the time being for her own safety…and to try and get more info if there is any to be had.”

--------------------------------------------------------------

Shagon, the astro switch powered rider known as Fourze, followed his cybernetic foe into the OSTO building with duel purpose. Once inside he lost track of his foe and wondered around for a moment stumbling into a larger lab. Much of the equipment had been moved out already, but one piece still remained and caught the young rider’s eye. A humanoid, robotic skeleton lay on a complex work station, abandoned in mid development. Looking over the item didn’t reveal much to Shagon until he found a name inscribed on the machine’s “skull”. Kyodain 05.

”First these fools try to create weapons to rival our power, then Geist tries to take the weapons to increase his standing against us, and now guild sends its worms to try and put all the pieces together. So many pathetic souls lost in the chaff…its almost sad.” Shagon turns to face the voice echoing in the dark only to see the twisted remains of the last combat-roid fall to the ground. Its destructor stands before the rider with a menacing presence and a massive pair of horns. The being is undoubtedly a Zodiarts, but it wears a black robe and bears a massive power. Two more figures join the menacing bull, wearing heavy robes and holding switches in their hands as their leader continues to speak. ”I must admit I am surprised Guild created a device that can harness four switches at once, even if said switches are poor imitations of our own. I am sure my masters will want to have a look at that. Alas, I am a busy man…kill him, destroy that thing behind him, and bring me his belt. I won’t except failure.”

With that the robed Zodiart walked away as his two servants revealed and pressed their own switches. One became a feline like Zodiarts that Shagon would know to be the Lynx Zodiarts, while the other turned into a familiar foe: the Chameleon Zodiarts. The Lynx zoomed past Shagon to destroy the machine behind him while the Chameleon used its elastic tongue to snare the rider’s leg in an attempt to pull him to the ground. Before Shagon could counter, he was forced to watch the Lynx rip apart the skeletal frame work of the Kyodain 05 before turning its attention to the computers surrounding it. The Chameleon continued to lash its tongues at Shagon, unaware that there was more then one foe at hand.

Outside the building, as Keila made her way toward the entrance to the complex, she encountered an unexpected sight. A teenage girl stood in the door way looking toward Keila with a blank gaze. She had long, blonde hair, blue eyes, pale skin, and wore a long, black dress. Keila felt something pulsate through her body as the girl approached. She had felt this sensation only hours before when she had found her new medal tucked away in her lab refrigerator. The girl spoke in almost a whisper and she took Keila’s hand and placed something within it. ”I don’t have much time. Apollo Geist is only one enemy. There are others…those with greater schemes then his. Though most will be your foes, there are some among them that will stand with you in the end. Don’t forget Keila: people can change.”

As the girl pulled away from Keila, her petite frame fell apart into a pile of cell medals. The item she had put in Keila’s hand was a yellow core medal. The knowledgeable woman would instantly recognize it as one of the original Cheetah medals. An explosion soon came from within the building as the sound of an ongoing battle echoed through the halls. Explaining the bizarre event would have to wait as it sounded like Shagon had bit off more then he could chew, and Keila knew yet another fight awaited her only a few rooms away.

Meanwhile, Mari searched through the debris left behind by the combat-roids for any clues, but found only ashes. One thing was certain, these thing were designed to leave no evidence of themselves behind. A beeping sound radiated from the girl’s purse and she pulled out her hand held with a smile. ”Alright burgermeal, give me some good news bud.” The foodroid had good news indeed as it sent video to Mari’s hand held of what the upper floors of the OSTO facility still contained. Surprisingly there were very few people left inside and it seemed much of the equipment had been abandoned. ”That is really weird…this place was bustling only a few minutes ago and now it is a ghost town…this can’t be good.” Mari then noticed something blinking in a cornor and sent a command to the burgermeal to investigate. The brunette gasped at what she saw and broke into a run. She had to find her friends and get away from here as soon as they could!

Keila blinked and took a moment to digest what, exactly, had just happened. The girl... she had to be some kind of Greeed, there was no other explanation for it. But, this Greeed definitely wasn't hostile. She frowned. 'People can change'? What did that even mean? And why commit suicide to pass on a medal? Just how many players were involved in this game?

Dang it. There were too many questions for her liking, and the only one with any answers was now lying in a pile of scrap cell medals. Not to mention that Fourze had somehow managed to stir up even more trouble for her to deal with. She really didn't want to head into another physical confrontation so soon after the last one.

But, like with all the unanswered questions, she really didn't have much say in the matter.

Ignoring the explosion for a moment, Keila plucked her cell phone from her pocket, hit a speed dial, and held the device to her ear. A long moment passed before someone picked up on the other end of the connection.

"Priority One. This is Keila West, Work ID: E1J1. There's a pile of cell medals in front of the OSTO building. I want them picked up, tagged and sealed. No one touches them but me. This goes double for Oswald Black. If he so much as looks at them wrong, break his arm."

She snapped the phone closed. She was definitely not in the mood to deal with anyone's idiosyncrasy, not when she was about to go back into battle. Keila swapped out a few medals in the OOO Driver and slipped into the main hallway. Once she was safely hidden indoors, she slapped the belt on and ran the Scanner over it.

"HAWK! TIGER! CHEETAH!"

The red and gold bands transformed into a black, red and gold set of armor. OOOs had been born once more.

OOOs put some power into her Cheetah legs and began rocketing down the hallways and branching paths. The Hawk Eyes fired up and began scanning her surroundings, drinking in details and pointing her towards the scene of Fourze's disaster.

She zig-zagged down the hallways. Right, left, right-- through the double doors and into the scene of the confrontation. OOOs snapped the Tiger Claws forward as she plowed through the doorway into some sort of bizarre operating room. There wasn't time to deal with details. Almost immediately it became apparent that Fourze was way in over his head.

OOOs blurred around the Chameliod, Claws lashing out every step of the way, knocking the Chamelion Zodiarts over backwards and freeing Fourze from its grip. OOOs slid to a stop against the opposite wall and glanced over her new opponents.

She hefted the Claws and prepared for Round 2.

Hogan shrugged and continued walking a cell medal across his knuckles. He didn't bother to point out that their intel was flaws to Hades; all they had at this point was hearsay and a few computer files. Hogan didn't have a lot of respect for computer files; they were notoriously easy to fake.

Bottom line: they still didn't have a clue what was really going on in this fiasco. They were going to need to know before they did anything.

"Fine by me. But just a word of advice, boss lady, but back in the States, we have a saying: 'If it's not on paper, then it didn't happen.' Since we're about to get involved in some inter-agency conflict, that might be something to keep in mind."

He gave Sakuya a quick salute and then turned back to the conference room. A knot formed in his throat as he realized just what this next mission would entail. Women. He was never very good at dealing with them.

"Hey, Belmont. Since, uh, we both want answers, how about we go straight to the horse's mouth." He nodded his head toward the back door. "C'mon. We're, uh, going to go pay your NSA pals a visit."

And press Belmont for a few more answers along the way, not that Hogan wanted to say that part. He dropped the cell medal back into his pocket. There wasn't any sense in overly tipping his hand yet.

Between the speedy Lynx zodiart and his fathers kidnapper Shagon was really starting to get angry. All this power and Shagon still had to struggle against Chameleon. Not to mention that now he had to worry about the fourze system being stolen which would be bad news. If whatever organization these two are working for got a hold of the driver and reverse engineered it then trouble would be an understatement. It would be havoc on an unimaginable scale. He couldn't allow that.

The tongue lashing he was getting from Chameleon was wearing him down. He had to do something pretty quick but he wouldn't be able to get close enough for close combat. But then again he had a switch for just such emergencies. He was about to dodge the next attack when a blur of black, gold, and red begins attacking Chameleon which gives Shagon his opportunity and pulls out the number 1 Rocket astro switch and replaces it with the number 5 Magic Hand astro switch and activated it.

"Magic Hand On!" A red folded pole appears on his right arm with a silver claw at the end of it. He aims it at the Chameleon and the red arm extends toward the Chameleon pinning him to the wall by the waist. Then with his left hand pulls out the chainsaw astro switch and replaces it with the launcher astro switch again and turning it and the radar astro switch on.

"Launcher On! Radar On!" Once more the blue missle launcher box forms on his right leg and the radar dish to help him target forms on his left arm and aims it at the Chameleon getting a lock on him. It was at this time that he noticed the blur was Keila. He made a mental note to thank her when he was done here.

"Hello Chameleon, long time no see. Where have you been hiding all this time and also one other question. WHERE IS MY FATHER YOU FREAKIN GREEN LIZARD!?"

The Chameleon stared at Shagon for a minute as if he wasn't sure how to answer. Finally as Shagon began to raise his right foot to stomp it and launch the missle's from it Chameleon spoke.

"Kill me and you will never find out where he is. I have him hidden away for right now and there is no way for you to find him until I am ready to reveal him."

Shagon listened to the Chameleon speak and he began to realize that he didn't have much of a choice. If he was going to rescue his father then he didn't know what else to do but to let Chameleon go. But that would mean letting this scum-bag get away with everything he had done. Shagon wasn't sure he could live with that choice. He looked at the Chameleon and spoke.

"I wan't confirmation that he is still alive you lizard. How do I know that he isn't dead and your just trying to avoid your punishment? Hmm?"

"Good question. The fact of the matter is that you don't know if he's alive or not. You have only my word. Now let me go or you will never see your father again."

Shagon didn't know what to do. Should he let Chameleon go? If his father was still alive this was his only chance to get him back. But how would his father react to that? His father had always taught him the safety of the public comes first before anything else. He didn't know what to do. He thought he saw movement from Keila as if she was going to intervene between him and the Chameleon and Shagon panicked.

"STAY BACK! THIS IS MY SITUATION TO DEAL WITH! GO DEAL WITH THE LYNX! CHAMELEON IS MINE!"

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

((OOC: Ok I think this is the best I can do for the time being. Sorry its shorter then usual. I will try to make up for it with a bigger post next time.))

OOOs wasn't exactly sure why Fourze was yelling at her. She had her hands full dealing with the Lynx Zodiart; she wasn't about to go taking a hand in someone else's battle. The Lynx was fast, and it required all of OOO's attention just to handle it.

Sure, the Cheetah Legs allowed her to keep pace with the Zodiart, but there was a difference between being able to move at super speed and being able to move at super speed well. She was a novice at utilizing the Cheetah medal while the Lynx was an old hat at zipping around the place. And the Lynx was more than content to seize that advantage.

She juked back and forth, attempting to block the rain of blows coming from the Lynx. Her left hand snapped down to intercept a strike aimed at her knee while OOO's right hand stopped a rather deadly decapitation attack. She tried to utilize the Hawk Eyes to get some kind of weakness scan on this beast, but that plan was quickly abandoned as another round of attacks smashed against OOO's chest and knocked the Rider over backwards.

OOOs toppled over and slammed heavily onto the wall. The Lynx just wasn't giving her enough time to do a proper scan... alright, a new plan was needed. As soon as she could gain a second to think, maybe she could come up with one.

OOOs cried out as the Lynx landed a double kick on her chest. She stumbled backward. A hazy idea was starting to form in her mind. Now the question was whether she was going to live long enough to implement it.

Her hands began fumbling with the OOO Driver. She needed to change out some medals if this was even going to have a chance of working...

Shagon stood their paralyzed with indecision and fear. He saw how much of a hard time Keila was having with the Linx Zodiart and he knew he had to help her but if he let Chameleon go then he would be giving up any chance of ever seeing his father again. What could he do? He smiled to himself wryly. He thought it very ironic that here he was in a situation trying to save his father and it was his father's advice that he wished he had at this exact moment to help him make a clear and decisive decision. He began to think back to when he was younger. He remembered one day when he was 17, it was one of the most memorable day's of his life as it was one of the few times he got to spend the whole day with his father. He remembered the conversation like it was yesterday.

Begin Flashback:
The day was sunny. Shagon and his father had spent the day like they normally would when they had the time just talking and catching up on whats happened in each others lives since the last time they were able to spend time together. While catching up on each others lives Shagon decides to bring up a topic thats been bothering him lately.

"Listen dad, there's something that I need to talk to you about thats been going around school lately. Its got to do with the last mission that your ship was on."

Shagon's father turned to look at him. He had a feeling he knew what was coming. After all he was young once too. He knew how Shagon looked at things from a black and white perspective because he used to view things that way as well. Shagon didn't have the knowledge or experience of looking at things objectively. That not everything can be looked at with a black and white perspective. Some times hard decisions had to be made. Vagon looked at his son and spoke.

"I think I know whats coming. This has to do with my decision to pull back the fleet in front of the enemy doesn't it?"

Shagon nodded with a response. "Yeah. A lot of people at school are calling it the biggest blunder in navel history. Their calling you a coward. I don't get it dad. Why? Why did you pull back the fleet like that? You had the enemy cornered and you let them get away!"

Vagon understood why his son was angry. Being the son of a navel captain isn't easy. Especially when said navel captain's face is plastered over every newspaper trying to smear his name just because he did not follow the popular idea.

"Son, I know that it's hard for you in school right now but..."

"NO! YOU DON'T KNOW HOW HARD IT IS DAD! EVERYDAY I GO INTO THAT SCHOOL AND I HAVE TO SIT AND LISTEN TO EVERYONE TALK TRASH ABOUT YOU BEHIND MY BACK ALL BECAUSE YOU DECIDED TO TURN TAIL AND RUN BECAUSE ONE SHIP COULDN'T DEFEND ITSELF IN A FLEET OF 10 SHIPS! I..."

The next sound that was heard was the sound of a hand slapping a face. The left side of Shagon's face to be exact. He stared at his father with wide eyes as Vagon stood over him with an expression that said that he was hurt far more then Shagon ever would be. They both stared at each other in silence for a long minute then Vagon spoke with an eerily calm but firm voice.

"I will not be spoken to in such a manner not by my own son or anyone. I did not just "turn tail and run". I was doing my duty to protect the men and women of that ship. We had the enemy cornered but they were making it far to easy. They wanted to be attacked. So I had a choice to make. Either back off and protect my ship and the other ships in my fleet or risk it all just for one enemy ship that was just begging to be attacked so they could trap us. I chose to protect my fellow men and women. I WILL NOT ABANDON MY CREW AND FRIENDS JUST SO YOU ARE NOT EMBARRASSED AT SCHOOL! YOU KNOW THAT IS HOW I LIVE MY LIFE BECAUSE I HAVE TRIED TO TEACH YOU THAT TIME AND TIME AGAIN!"

Shagon sat there on the bench in front of his father listening with full attention on him. When Vagon was through speaking Shagon spoke again.

"But I don't understand. If that were the case then why is everyone calling you a coward? Why is the media smearing your name like your a common thug?"

"Because my superiors ordered me to sacrifice the fleet to get the job done. Now I will follow orders from a superior but when those orders demand the sacrifice of hundreds thats where I draw the line. You never turn your back on a partner or friend or team mate or who ever if they are in danger of death. To do so makes you worse then a coward, you are not even fit to walk this earth if you do such a thing. Remember this one thing if nothing else son, protect the public safety. So long as you do that, even if you do not complete any other task you will be able to sleep soundly at night with a clear conscience. That is all that should really matter in the end."

End Flashback:

Shagon stood stock still as he remembered those words. Those words had been a driving force for Shagon for the last 4 years since that day. Shagon reached up with his left hand and held it against the left side of his helmet where he had been slapped years before and he suddenly knew what had to be done. He didn't like it, and he knew that he was giving up a chance to see his father again but he had to end this now. Shagon looked to his partner who was still having problems and then looked back to Chameleon and with a numb movement of his left hand he reached over and pulled the control lever on the driver and for the first time he felt a chill of terror run down his spine as the driver called out two words.

"LIMIT BREAK!"

Shagon raised the launcher leg up in the air and slammed it down on the ground shouting the finisher. "RIDER BALLISTIC BARRAGE!"

The missles left the blue box encasing his leg and he watched in slow motion as the missles made their way toward Chameleon and as much as he wanted to stop them and turn back time for what he was doing Shagon knew that his father would never approve of letting such a dangerous monster get away just for his sake. It felt like an eternity as the missles flew at Chameleon who struggled and struggled trying to free himself but it was no use. The magic hand had him pinned to tightly. Just as the missles made contact with Chameleon Shagon moved at lightning speed as he shut down and pulled out the magic hand astro switch and replaced it with the rocket astro switch and activated it and the drill astro switch at the same time shutting down the radar and launcher astro switches.

"Rocket On! Drill On!"

He pulled the control lever once more and the driver called out again: "LIMIT BREAK!"

He aimed straight at the Lynx Zodiart and powered up the rocket and charged straight at Lynx shouting.

"HERE'S A PRESENT FROM ME TO YOU! CHOKE ON IT! RIDER ROCKET DRILL KICK!"
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Well I end it here for dramatic effect. Let me know how it is and if I should change anything or not. I will give control of Shagon to who ever needs it to make the next post involving how I ended my post. Hope you all use this power wisely ;)

ORCA! TIGER! GRASSHOPPER!

OOOs finally managed to get all three medals in place and scanned, although the time it took to initiate the process had definitely taken its toll. Her armor was scratched and starting to smoke in places. Beneath that exterior, Keila was already feeling the wounds of battle take their toll.

So, it all came down to this one shot. It was literally do or die time. OOOs brought two fingers up and touched them to the Orca helmet, gathering power and energy in preparation for the coming strike. The yellow blur of moving lynx congealed on the far side of the room and then thinned out as it came at her once more.

Quick as a flash, OOOs took aim and fired. A bolt of liquid shot from the helmet and snapped across the air to impact the lynx in the dead center of its chest.

Fun fact: slamming into a pool of water at high speeds was more than a bit like faceplanting into concrete at terminal velocity.

The end result of her little stunt knocked the lynx clean off his feet and dropped him to the ground like a sack of potatoes-- if that sack of potatoes had a smoking crater in its center. The beast's momentum didn't dissipate on impact, however, it hung on long enough to send the lynx careening across the room completely out of control. A grasshopper bound took OOOs clear of the lynx's crash landing.

A sigh of relief left OOOs' throat as Fourze came out of nowhere to impale and destroy the Zodiarts user. She sagged a bit and was forced to latch onto the wall lest she topple over. The fight had taken more than a bit out of her... she wasn't even fully sure that she could have handled a Scanning Charge at this point. Not having to have to try was a welcome development.

"Thanks for the assist." OOOs waved weakly. "I needed it."
