Kamen Rider W coming to Blu-Ray

This is not an April Fool's joke. Amazon Japan has listed that Kamen Rider W is coming to BD in 3 box sets. Eps 1-16, 17-32, and 33-49. They are quite pricey (normally 20,000Y, but Amazon has like 20% off if you preorder them) and will most likely not have Eng Subs.

I just thought I'd let you guys know in case any of you were interested.

Why would there be English subs? We're lucky when we get those for movies. (and that's only happened a handful of times)

I'm glad someone noticed though, the news of the new Hurricanger movie totally overshadowed this.

If the episodes are identical to the raws we had when W aired this will be perfectly okay with me. Mainly because then I can just get the scripts Over-Time/W-Time used back then.

I don't know exactly how much time or energy it takes to throw a sub together, but with the demand for japanese media in the Americas by fans & collectors alike, it almost seems like a no brainer. I'm sure they'd easily make back the money spent on the subs themselves...

Except it does take a lot of time and energy to create a quality English script. I'd rather them not bother with one than have a half-assed or HK quality script for the BD release.

Not all of them, I think it was only one of them and I believe that was mainly because they'd used an English composer. I remember something with a staff member.

That was the Ultra Galaxy movie. And yeah, the composer spoke English, and for some reason he also wrote the subtitles, I think.
