Kamen Rider: The First (US Release DVDs)

Well amazing at it seems, I actually got a copy of KR: First early, Way early. I preordered it through Rightstuf.com and low and behold I was alerted that the DVD had been shipped to me. Haven't watched it yet but I can provide all my fellow HJU members with pictures of the product itself.

EDIT: Finished watching the movie. All I can say is wow the DVD has alot more detail than when I saw TV Nihon's fansub! Cobra's black aura punches was something I never noticed when I watched the fan sub. Media Blasters did a good job overall in importing the title. Like Cromartie Hight the Movie's treatment by Media Blasters, Kamen Rider the First did very well. I'm also glad they kept cyborgs as the classification! MEdia Blasters kept the making of featurette as well so this looks to be an excellent title for anyone who wants this.

Hmm, wasn't the release advertised as a two disc set? I remember reading that it would be two discs. Oh well, I wonder when this'll hit brick and mortor stores then? I can wait until April but it would be nice for it to be out sooner.

Aside from the coming soon adverts and a comment card, its pretty bare bones. This is exactly like the Cromartie High LA movie release, except no slipcover, and no English language track. Special Features are included as you can see on the back. I will be watching soon, so I promise to give a review.
