[Forever Knight]

Kazuya Oki, played by Shunsuke Takasugi, volunteers to undergo cybernetic surgery in the International Space Development Program in the United States in order to become an astronaut who can survive in outer space without the need for a bulky external suit. After a successful operation, he is given the codename "Super-1". Before he can depart for space, however, the base where he received his operation is attacked by the Dogma Kingdom. Only Kazuya is able to escape.

Determined to avenge the deaths of the scientists, he returns to Japan and is trained by a martial arts expert, Master Genkai. With this knowledge, he is able to transform into the powerful Kamen Rider Super-1.​

I don't like this Kamen Rider season very much.
The first half with Dogma is really awesome and the final battle very dark with many important deaths and so on.
But when Jin Dogma comes into play, the series goes down. That stupid children become the sidekicks of Super-1 and are very annoying.
But the first half is damn good

I'm enjoying what I'm seeing so far. Not as bad as alot of people told me it was.

Correct me if I am wrong but isn't Super 1 played by VUL EAGLE #2?.

I remember Super-One...

This series was aired in Indonesia after Black RX(yeah, they aired it not in order), when I was about 6 or 7 years old:anime:
Don't remember the story, though... I just remember his weapon, his transformable arms, but forgot their name...

Was it Super Hand(grey), Power Hand(red), Heat and Cold(green), Radar Hand(gold), and Electic Hand(blue)???
Oh, and I love his henshin-style, like some martial artist:buttrock:

But I saw him in action again in Kamen Rider Spirit manga, cool:buttrock:

Super-1 isn't that bad, but I think you'll notice there is a shift halfway through. The first half is really straightforward and pretty serious (hell, the show opens with a massacre!), and the second half is a bit lighter, after a very tragic mid-series episode. This is mostly due to the Junior Riders and the Jindogma monsters, who look like they escaped from an early Sentai. They're still pretty cool, but be prepared for the world's first (and only?) utility ladder Kaijin.

On the flipside, the second half has like, the first ever real multi-episode Rider villainesses, so that's pretty significant. The main villains are pretty neat, and one thing that never changes throughout: Super-1 himself kicks ass.

The 2 Parter eps 22-23 were fantastic. But then the series went on a different turn on 24.

Who are these new villians?.... why is Super 1 dressing like someone out of the early '70s all of a sudden?..... It's like an entirely different show.

Finished the series up. Eps 1-23 were great, the finale episodes were great. But everything from 24-45 was just pathetic for Classic Rider standards. So much potential.

:laugh: I love the first series and all, but -- damn, 98 episodes felt like a journey. Same with Goranger's 84.
