For some reason I have a feeling that the doll is some kind of camera for Foundation X. The white clothing just seems so much like Foundation X kind of thing.Like when he loses contact with it he is shocked or something along those lines.

My guess is that the doll is a conduit for Maki to converse normal with people.

He my have some kind of Personality disorder that make it very hard for him to talk with other people, but if he "relay's" it through the doll, he can. Kind of like how with kids who don't want to talk about something, then will if it's through a Hand puppet since it's not "them" doing the talking.

Nah, not intentional since Gamel acts like a child. Maybe she wanted to give birth to Gamel? The desire to be a mother? And yes, Mezool's actor is hot.

I'm watching the subbed episode now, and if I understand Kougami's explanation of the Greeed correctly...all the Greeed actually have ten Cores, and their creators took one of each in order to create OOO? Or did they lose all the tenth Cores somehow, and their creators had to take additional Cores in order to fight the now-insane Greeed with OOO?
I noticed that myself while watching it again. Maybe the doll just has to be a certain distance away or something.

The subbed said the 10th cores were destroyed but who know.
