Technically, Eiji has a greed as well. The greed of wanting to protect too much. I think he hasn't been overtaken because of his simplicity and that he hasn't truly failed yet. The day he pushes himself too hard or someone dies because he couldn't do anything, we may see another side of him.

Of course, this is all speculation.

The Mantis Yummy warned him about the belt. Later on in the show, hell probably gain a Dark form.

Just watched Episode 4 of OOO. Seems things are heating up. Eiji just stole the core medals of Kazari, but lost the Mantis medal. Still, 3 medals are still good.

So at the end we saw 2 taka medals, 2 tora medals, 2 cheetah medals, and one bata medal; the kamaki medal was taken by Kazori. So then does this mean that there are 2 copies of a core medal?

I think each Greeed have 3 types of Core Medal. I categorized it almost the same as when OOO used it, a head, arm, and leg type medal, but a certain type medal doesn't mean used to materialized said certain body part for Greeed, because on episode one Ankh's arm is materialized by Taka Medal, when we knew that OOO use Taka Medal for head part, not arm part and on episode 4 OOO stole two Cheetah Medal from Kazari's body, not it's leg.

And each Greeed have, probably, more than three Core Medal for each type, because on episode 1 we can see Kazari was materialized from about 7 Core Medals.

Did not expect Kazari's chestpiece to explode like that. That was a nice touch.
So next episode OOOs gets bum rushed by the Greed and perhaps he gets his new helmet medal.

So, i just finished Episode 4 and i gotta say the show has not been close to disappointing me yet

never thought about the idea of losing a medal to gain new ones. but why are there 4 yellow medals now? =\

I think the other 2 medals that he stole from Kazari were just kinda in the place that he grabbed them from. Besides, its good to have spares, just in case he loses one of them like the Mantis medal.

And I think I finally get why Ozu is powerful. He needs only one Core medal for each parts and utilize their abilities while the Greed needs 3 for each Core medal.

Though I wonder if they the extra 2 medals are for the armors that they wear and to amplify the the powers of the medals, like that 'sonic boom' like power that Kazari uses.

I hope the Greeds explain how they were created and sealed away and what they'll do when they become complete again. Maybe Kuuga seal them along with the Grongi. :sweat:
