Blurring the pictures is a part tease. To show it all would add no surprise.

To spill everything out so soon would cause the uploader some serious trouble.

Why do you think we get snips of magazine scans then full pages weeks later?

So it is kind of like one of the workers going "The internet needs to see this!" except he blurs it so the bosses don't freak out.

How exactly would that help keep their job safe though?

The picture, blurred or clear, already shows that there's a leak. Not the first time, and not the last time either. Unless the picture has some sort of evidence or hint that could lead to it being traced back to the particular staff, I don't see how blurring it would help much. I mean, Decade had a few clear leaked pics:
