I just had an idea for why the top halves of all the spheres on Birth's body and gun are transparent: if you look at his belt in the other picture, there's a protrusion to the right of the belt that could be a slot where Candroids are to be inserted to grant him extra powers. Depending of the Candroid inserted, the transparent halves of the spheres light up in that colour to signify the boost.

There's also a similar slot on his gun, which might be where a Candroid is inserted as a 'magazine' for the gun.

Jiro's lost a lot of weight--look at how baggy the Kintaros suit is on him in the Trilogy. :anime:

His weight/size fluctuates quite a bit, doesn't it? He lost quite a lot of weight before doing IXA iirc.

OR it could be that designing it like this makes the reference to the Gachapon motif even more obvious.

It seems to. I haven't been keeping up with Goseiger but when I catch Gosei Knight he looks quite trim.

Jiro dropped a ton of weight for Shinkenger, I can always point him out and would never have guessed once he debuted ShinkenGold. He s now doing GoseKnight so there is no hope of him doing any Rider work until Goseiger is completed. But I do think he needs to return to Rider.

Yes, he's been doing Goseiger, but it should be wrapping pretty soon if it hasn't already. Depending on the size of this Rider's part in Movie Taisen 2011 he could have done it fairly easily alongside his Sentai job.

Goseiger wraps up in late January, sooo I don't think it's him.

Wasn't Ryuki initially intended to be Metal Hero until someone at the top decided to change it into the next Heisei Rider show?
