Still, I'm liking Gotou more and more so far, and I'm looking forward to any major character development he might get in the next episode and after. I hope he becomes at least an anti-hero, if not a proper hero, and not just an asshole rival like coconut and Pegasus are so certain of.

So 8 episodes is enough for other people to go "I love him! He's going to be an awesome Rider!" but not enough for me to dislike him?

I think that he will, right now he doesn't have that much faith in Eiji unlike his boss. Which is understandble since Eiji is just too inexperienced, not to mention he deals with one situation at a time, instead of looking at the bigger picture.

No, 8 episodes in (with 4 minutes total footage of the actual guy) is enough for nobody to make ANY assumptions about him.

He clearly said he QUIT the Cops yet you say he was removed for being a shitty cop. Do you see what I'm saying?. YOU WANT to dislike the character, there is a difference between hating the guy legit and just hating for the sake of hating which is clearly what you are doing.

btw, what is the Kougami secretary's name?.... She was smokin' secks in ep 7.
