Speaking of Gotou..doesn't he remind you of a certain someone?

Now that you mention it he does remind me kinda of Sakurai Yuuto, only with a different hairstyle. Of course, it remains to be seen if he starts clotheslining a Greeed that decides to tag along with him

He's like any other "arrogant/aloof guy" type of secondary Rider - ie. nearly all of them. He is the most obvious and boring choice and I really hope he won't be the second Rider. Now people are suggesting it's the guy who apparently shows up in episode 9, but then for all we know that could just be a one-shot character :sweat:

As I mentioned Shintaro has a soldier mentality which makes him appeares aloof, which he isn't. Though he has no issues with Eiji, he did asked him that if he can't control Ankh, can he really save the world. In fact not every second Rider comes off a complete jerk.

Technically TheBee was the second rider. Kagami was like the 6th or something and TheBee was a HUGE asshole!

So far Shintaro comes off as a soldier nothing more, nothing less. Which why he apperes to be aloof. In the military, soldiers are trained to put aside their personal feelings. Which is why he hasn't showed any distain for Eiji yet.

As for him being the second Rider, it would be the logical choice. Since I don't see Kogami giving the armor to some low ranker or an outsider.
