I was thinking of Kick and Punch Hopper, but they didn't really go mad and Kick Hopper didn't die.

He really went berserk after he found out Kitaoka died and he charged at the police.

Did Sasword die soon after he found out he was a Worm? I think he did.

It still is a recurring theme even though I can't remember many of them of all the ones that exist. :sweat:

I think you're quite right, but I can think of an exception, Leangle. (Of course you can say he went beserk and fought Joker at Ep 48)

Well, I did say it usually happens. If there's something to interrupt it and/or the person returns to normal, he can survive.

but going berserk usually means that the character soon dies unless he's soon saved.

Some people think Kick Hopper was fatally injured while fighting Punch Hopper (or allowed himself to be, so they could die together) and was dying when he gave his little speech at the end. It's all moot anyway cos they're both alive again by Decade :laugh:

There were rumours about Gamel dying or appearing to die but then coming back? IIRC they came from the same person who was right about Kazari working with Maki ...
