It's just them trying not to undermine their gimmick. Had OOO been in Movie War 2010, he would have gone into the PuTopTyra combo, and we all know it.

No, he'd have gone TaToBa and beaten the crap out of someone a final form couldn't handle...onore.

I just like to call a spade a spade. In execution, and everything we've learned about the concept of the purple medals, they be distinct.

Summary for Ep 43 in official websites:

Lost Ankh is defeated, Ankh appears again in front of everyone. But, after getting his Cores broken because of OOO, Ankh needs to use Shingo's body again.

'Leave Shingo's body and return it to Hina!'

Eiji is strangely furious and threats to use the purple medals to fight Ankh. But Ankh still possessed Shingo and escapes.

Ankh is lacking of Cores, becoming complete is even harder than before, he approaches Dr. Maki who is turning into a Greeed. Maki gives him a suggestion, what is it...?

In Ep 42, Maki explained to Eiji that Greeeds have the desire to become human, that want to have the five senses. Both of them are incomplete, hence their lack of senses. When a Greeed becomes complete, they will look at the world like humans do. Furthermore if they go berserk, their power is enough to swallow the whole world into darkness. This is what Maki is wanting, the 'perfect end'.

Toei wouldn't kill off the main rider's best friend/comrade. Even Ryoutaro gets to live with Momotaros.

Don't the Greeed have to be sealed away or defeated, presumably including Ankh? And if he really does turn evil (ie. not faking it like Date) he won't be Eiji's friend any more, will he?

So Eiji is becoming evil-ish, and the Greeed want to be human?

I wonder, were the Greeed once human, and had gone through a transformation like Maki and Eiji 800 years ago? So far only Lost Ankh has taken another human's form.

Why? The series hasn't really given any reason the Greeeds can't learn to live in peace. A cop out ending where everyone survives is still perfectly possible.

Maybe I worded it wrong? I think it meant that Eiji just doesn't want Hina and Shingo to be involved in the medal business anymore.

And WTF I just saw the Chinese subs and in the preview Ankh said to Maki that he is willing to be a container for medals.:O_O:
