It's called escapism; people, especially children, need some aspects of life to be uplifting and comforting whenever there's hardships abound. That and you could just as well say the people of Japan just want to get back to their daily lives instead of experiencing the 'misery' (for lack of a more sensitive word) of the current situation 24/7.

I get where you're coming from, but I would think you're the only one coming from there.

I agree here, besides I think kids would like to see something that would cheer them up (like seeing a bug-eyed superhero fight some monsters) rather then the crap that's going on right now.

Somehow I imagine the usual Kamen Rider/Sentai battle locations, i.e. parking lots, open areas, etc would now look like Fuuto Tower under reconstruction.

I had an idea for a plant-based Orchid-Rose-Bamboo combo actually. And I envision this flower combo will either look like a Precure girl or the Love-Love combo
