History:
Alice had always been a solemn child. She never spoke unless she was spoken to, nor did she do anything that girls her age “should” do. When Alice was first born she never spoke until she turned six, making her parents believe that there was something wrong with her mind. She was taken to dozens of doctors and psychiatrists to ask what was wrong with her, but all of the doctors could not answer the questions properly. There appeared to be nothing wrong with her, so the doctors just dismissed her unnatural behavior as her just being naturally quiet. It was that time that Alice had a single question in her mind, a single seed of doubt, “What is wrong with me?”
As the years passed Alice not broken out of her silent nature. Believing that she was mentally impaired due to lack of talking, Alice was held back a year and was put into special help courses all throughout her schooling life, even though she did not need them. This unnecessary care only reinforced her opinion that something was terribly wrong with her. She began to honestly believed that she was broken, like a toy that did not do what it was supposed to do. A worthless, broken doll. Although Alice got high grades in school, she almost never participated in class. She never volunteered to answer questions and she never asked for help even though she needed it desperately. She just lived through each day of her life at school, only working and doing homework with no sort of recreational activities other than the time she spends on the school's Kendo Team. Some of the teacher tried to get her to put down her school work but to no avail. Alice simply could not see the point in socializing with others.
However, Alice had even more social issues inside and outside of school. When other girls her age were partying or going on shopping sprees, Alice would be reading a book or practicing Kendo. Often teased as “Ice Queen” or “Miss Robot” of their school, Alice never paid mind to their bullying and ostracism, even though they hurt her deeply every single time. Her quiet reserved nature had gotten her no friends although during her senior year she did get a small group of admirers for her “cool, reserved attitude”. Alice never paid them any mind though, such things just simply did not interest her nor could she understand why people would like her. She quickly concluded that they were just mocking her rather than actually meaning what she had said. And so Alice found herself utterly alone once again. It did not hurt her, no, she had long gotten accustomed to being alone long ago.
The off-hand remarks of her own parents said such as, “You should make more friends and stop being such a freak.” or “Stop apologizing so often, we all know that you don’t mean it.” only made her own pain and self-loathing worse and eventually she began to degrade herself to the point where she did not value her life at all. She would always choose the life of another over her own, no matter who or what she would give her life for. Eventually, Alice withdrew within her own doll-like persona, becoming more apathetic and emotionless than ever before. All of this was in an effort to make the pain in her heart stop, she was never shown affection in her life and she only knew pain even if the people who inflicted it on her did not intend to hurt her. Alice no longer considered herself to be “alive”.
How, she thought,
could such a hollow existence be classified as living? I am not alive nor do I live this life of mine, she reasoned,
I just simply survive.
One day, Alice was walking home from school when she saw a strange silver briefcase floating down the stream. The metal of the briefcase was charred, dented, and held deep gouges and scratches all over the chrome surface. Retrieving it quickly from the water, Alice opened it up, revealing a strange silver buckle with a single card with a beetle picture on it. The card was held behind a glass panel within the belt, the glass and belt itself untouched by whatever had wrecked it container. Along with that card was three other cards, encased within an envelope in the briefcase. Discarding the case and keeping the contents for herself, Alice began her long trek to her apartment, unaware of the role that she soon would take. She noted that the contents felt strangely warm in her hands, even though the buckle initially was icily cold.
That night as Alice lay dreaming, she saw a great battle, fought between dozens of creatures she unconsciously knew as Undead. Names, images, and other knowledge flowed into her mind. She felt as if she had known these things all of her life, even though she only had learned these things scarcely a few seconds ago. Through the eyes of one of them, the Category Ace of Spades, she saw the Battle Royale. Through the dream, Alice experienced battle and combat in its purest and most chaotic form. She, as the Ace of Spades, fought and sealed several undead. However, the dream of battle and wonder was cut short by when the Ace of Spades was sealed away by the Category Ace of Clubs, the Spider Undead.
As the memories began to fade away, a voice spoke to Alice. A voice nobler than she had ever heard before.Yet it was tinged with a hint of sadness and the tiniest shred of warmth and affection, something that Alice had never felt before. She knew whom it belonged to, the Undead whose life she had just lived briefly.
“Young Human, I have seen all of your entire life, all that you have ever known or experienced. I have seen your strength of will and the sorrow you hold within your heart. Now that you know my life, and I know yours, I now shall grant you my power. Do not disappoint me, Blade.”
Alice woke up suddenly, her new found knowledge holding power within her own eyes as the card within the buckle pulsing with light, power, and a new sense of purpose. For once, she knew what she had to do. It was not something that could be explained through words, even if she had a hundred years to attempt to explain. It was instinct, it was something buried into her subconscious that refused to be ignored. It was the one of the many things that her life before had lacked. A goal, no matter how vague of how impossible it seemed, that was always worth pursuing.
Meanwhile at Saber Inc. the briefcase that once held the Blaybuckle and cards was discovered by a group of scientists. Although delighted to find the missing items, when they opened it, their relief turned to horror as they found the briefcase empty. Somebody had taken the rider gear and left to use it for their own purposes. This was completely unforgivable, if the gear had ended up in the wrong hands... who knows what the consequences would be! So Saber Inc. began to pursue the thief, and hopefully they would be able to keep it out of the hands of Aesir.

The Battle Royale ROUGH DRAFT V2
When Fantasia was first created, almost no life had manifested upon the dimensional plane just yet. This was troubling to the Ancient Spirits. 'How can we give life to this barren universe?' they thought. One of them, Aesir, suggested an idea to "kickstart" the creation of life on Fantasia. He proposed to create 54 different creatures, each of them representing a different creature while #52 and #53, the two Jokers, who would weed out the weak, allowing the truly strong creatures to be determined. However, the Jokers represented the aspects of extinction and destruction. If either of them won the Battle Royale, it was a sign that it was not the right time for life to flourish. The Ancient Spirits named these creatures Undead for they could not truly die, but they could only be sealed away. When all of the Ancients finally agreed to the proposal, the Battle Royale finally commenced.
For days the battle raged on with almost no apparent winner. Some of the different Undead were sealed away, disqualified from the grand fight. Eventually, one of the Jokers, having sealed and absorbed Chalice, the Category Ace of Hearts and one of the strongest of the Aces, quickly defeated the Category Two of Hearts, the Human Undead. Strangely, the Human Undead allowed himself to be sealed without any fighting, saddened by the loss of its brethren to regain the will to fight. Joker absorbed the Human Undead and with it, the emotions and the conscience that came with it.
Joker looked around him, at the violence and chaos that surrounded him and began to long for the fighting to stop, he longed for peace. With a burning determination within his newly born heart, Joker challenged The Master, the pseudo avatar of Aesir to combat. After a long battle that raged for seven days and nights, The Master was finally destroyed and the Sealing Stone was shattered into millions of pieces. The Battle Royale was over, but with more than one Undead remaining a new decision was reached. All of the remaining Undead were allowed to have their progeny rule over Fantasia together, sowing seeds of life that would become the different races and species that would soon inhabit Fantasia in the future.
However, in order to prevent this new world from being destroyed, Joker unsealed the Human Undead and then allowed himself to be sealed away, thus allowing the world that he had fought for to continue to come into existence. For once, the Joker was at peace, his destructive urge suppressed by the feeling of peace that the new world brought him.
After the seeds of life were sown, all the Undead were resealed, allowing their descendants to rule Fantasia in the future. Thousands of years later, the Enchantic Kingdom was founded as well as the several other Kingdoms throughout Fantasia. No records remain that the Undead ever existed, the tale of the Battle Royale only known to a handful of Fantasians and to all of the Ancient Spirits.
Now years later, Aesir has woken the Undead once again, ready to wreak havoc upon the Earth.
Hope that clears things up!
