So Cancer is back? I wonder if that means Kijima will escape the Dark Nebula or someone else is using his switch.

Didn't they say Leo will be using the other Horoscope switches? Maybe he's strong enough to go to Supernova with them.

Btw, when Aries' horns changed, was that suppose to be his Supernova? Becaue that would be pretty sad...

Don't think so. When Scorpion and Cancer turned into Supernova, they turned their constellation stars into a globe or something before absorbing it. Aries' constellation only appeared and re-absorbed.

They're not in the same slot though, the whole point of Cosmic States is to combine two switches at the same slot. Camera and Stealth can be done at Base, Elek and Fire states.

I just realized that, now that you've mentioned it.

So, they really thought this through instead of randomly putting switches on whatever limb their random number generator lands on, eh?

EDIT: Ooh, Gatling Pen is gonna be OP. Gatling Pen + Launcher Freeze = mass crowd control.

Camera+Medical: Bioscanner
Camera+Radar: Radar powered scope
Camera+Shield: Deflect and examine attacks simultaneously

Camera isn't useless. Its just not made for battle.

But Shun said that Aries was doing what the other Horoscopes did to go into Supernova. Perhaps Yamada's just wasn't up to snuff compared to the others. Remember that Gamou was impressed that Kijima could conjure one on his own. That seems to indicate that typically the Horoscopes need him to reach a full Supernova.

The circle slot can fuse 3 switches: Cosmic Baruzan sword, the switch you insert into the sword, plus the 3 switch you press on the pad. Elek is doing what you call as 'remotely boosting', Rocket was a third additional you can say, just doing it in a different order that's all.

Pad, meaning the chest.

Right-hand fusion at it's maximum is: Baruzan Sword + switch inserted in slot + switch activated at the pad

If you want Elek or Fire to fuse with Launcher or Drill, etc. Turn to Elek States or Fire states.:sweat:

I just rewatched the Cosmic States fight scene, and from what I can gather, the Combining system needs an active psychical switch to work with. In the Two Combo moves he made (one with the sword, and the other with a leg switch), He had to first activate a switch before channeling the power of another one to active switch. Launcher just happened to be in the belt already. So I'm guessing if he wants to use a switch that belong in the other 3 categories, they would manifest in his hand like the Circles.

I'd wager Aries was just beginning to turn Nova but never completely reached it by the time Fourze finished him. He was evolving, which in Cancer's turned him Nova, which probably led Shun to his conclusion.

Given what we've seen so far, a true Horoscope Nova form is a giant CGI monster and for budget reasons we probably won't see all 12 Nova forms. Though a Movie War could feasibly show off all 12 Horoscopes in their Nova forms in some giant battle, showing the Nova forms for the Horoscopes we won't see in the series.
