lol No seriously...Ep. number as well, if anyone can.

1, of course

In all seriousness though, after hitting a somewhat dull middle, either episode 25 (Lost Ankh and the Bird Yummy) or 31 (the Purple Core Medals) is where the show kicks into high gear for a spectacular last half. Lots of action, pretty damn effective drama and emotion, and interesting character moments.

I would agree with episode 1 being where OOO got rolling. By the end of the first episode I was already hooked. Week-in and week-out it's been an absolute blast and I'm going to miss it.

I'm excited for Fourze though. It's looking like a weird mix of stuff, some of which I can't wait for and some of which I'll need to actually see in motion, but I feel pretty optimistic.

Same here.
Loved OOO from episode 1.

To me, I would say the TaJaDor debut arc was when OOO really started to really proves its worth.

I guess it's safe to say, among those of us who fell OOO had a lost start, that things started to picked up after the first movie (even if it wasn't canon).

Episode 1, Blue - Spring - Strange - Body. The episode title pattern seems to be consisting of 4 kanji characters written separately. Together, they do form a sentence. In this case, "Youth Transformation"
I don't think they are meant to be read kanji-by-kanji even if they are typeset like this (青・春・変・身). It's just to emphasize the number 4.

I somewhat expected them to use this format, even though actual four-kanji idioms were more likely to happen rather than just random titles.

Yeah, it's not like Godai was impaled through the shoulder with a spear or thrown off a boat or anything. But I do like how Eiji does get harmed as OOO, adds more realism to it. They did it once or twice with Shotaro and Terui, but Eiji regularly gets pretty big hits.

I don't think it's necessarily "bad writing" if we don't see Gentaro take the same kind of serious hits as Eiji does. A teen hero is supposed to be someone the audience can "identify" with more easily, so the writers won't want to beat up on him the way they might with an older character

Those summaries for the first two episodes sound basic enough that I'm excited to see what the writers are gonna do with the setup. I think the high school setting is going to be a gold mine for good comedy. That and I'm already having a good feeling about Gentaro. 'Course, I liked Eiji, too, so... ;)

So if I'm not mistaken, we now have a little over two weeks left to wait.

Two weeks left until...ahem...

SPACE **** YEEEEAAAAAH! :castlerock:
