Kamen Rider "Eye Glow"

as many heisei rider fans likely know, that starting in Faiz and not reoccurring until Kabuto, every Kamen Rider's eyepiece(s) would light up, as well as any kind of forehead gem if applicable, would flash with bright light just as he/she completes the transformantion, form changes included.

also, for whatever reason, the old riders like Kuuga have had their henshins changed to include this "eye glow" effect when they appear on Kamen Rider Decade.

so i'm asking all you guys for your thoughts, speculations, theories, etc. on what causes this effect and why it is included nowadays as what seems to be a constant in Rider Henshins

I think Faiz era were the only ones that had their suit light up though...Shame they only showed that effect in one episode though...

Faiz's were used because accordingly, the suit allows them to see in the dark, plus the whole SOLBlood pumped throughout the suit had its own glow.
After that, I guess they just found it to be a really cool effect. Or they got some positive feedback regarding the effect.

that doesn't quite explain why it wasn't brought back until Kabuto, unfortunately

Well, I don't know about Blade, but....the Oni Riders in Hibiki...well, they didn't have eyes.

Not really a new/Heisei Rider thing - Kamen Rider 1 had glowing eyes too (at least right at the start).

and faiz's motif was a firefly, so it wouldn't have made sense if he didn't light up.

I particularly like the Faiz glow, it reminds me of a raver and would look cool if there was a Faiz-themed rave outfit
