Kamen Rider Double expectations - Pre-Discussion

Watching the trailers and considering the basic plot, I think this could turn out pretty similar to Dekaranger - Mostly unrelated crimes tied up by a weapon seller who is also the main villain.

If they can execute the crime and investigation aspect as well as Deka, avoiding turning every enemy into just a bunch of berserker monsters or henchmen, I think I could enjoy this a lot, just like I enjoyed Deka.

However, if the focus ends leaning too much to humor and character interactions, like Den-O, I probably won't like it nearly as much.

^That's what I'm afraid of. We had a pretty balance with humor/senti/action before, let's hope it doesn't get Sentai-er....

I think in the beginning, Phillip is crazy.
And I also think Shotaro is gonna be the "Funny" guy.

From heisei KR traditions there will be summer movie, HBV, and maybe more net vids.

Im guessing that Double will have two films. the crossover with Decade and Double's own film.

I'm going to at least give the first five eps a try and see if I can continue to enjoy it after that, unless the first one or two blow me away and decide for me. As an aside, I dunno if it was just me, but when I first heard the concept of Double as a Rider, I thought of Firestorm the Nuclear Man with the addition of Rider form changes.
