Kamen Rider Climax Heroes Fourze

I thought it was for counter-attack. Tried it with Assault mode but nothing happened either. Could it be to enhance Ibuki's defense or maybe reflecting projectile attacks? XD
IIRC that stance was used for his henshin pose, and barrage of kicks on one episode (and if memory serves, on Hibiki PS2 game)

yes, it's his henshin pose, complete with the wind effect, but ibuki cut it in half after henshin

haven't tried him again so it's still a mystery for me

I never heard the original Japanese version of Kamen Rider Black, but yeah, I also have a hard time to feel Shadow Moon's awesomeness when it speaks here. Kintaros ruins it :laugh:

i've just recently watched BLACK all over again so it really feels different(from the CHF one), but yeah, just like dragon ball, its one of the shows that i first watched NOT in Japanese so i kinda surprised how deep kotarou's voice in the undubbed version(and how squeaky son gokou is with his real voice)...bayangan hitam...LoL, how's FCTI by the way?

2. Black RX's Revolcrush: The slow motion movements when RX pulls the Revolcane, that was awesome and nostalgic. The remix of Kamen Rider Black RX song is great too.

3. Ibuki's Ongekisha Shippu Issen: The accurate sound effects and kanji appearing was nice. And I'm Hibikifag, so yeah XD
yeah, plus he actually stabs the enemy now, not run the cane into the sides of their waist, LoL, but the firecracker sparks scene(which made the move famous, even parodied in KOF and other medias) are shortened, that's a downer

ibuki's finisher is WAY too short IMO, he usually plays a song, not just blowing the trumpet once

Too bad they didn't give Burakawani his finisher (though we get Tajadoru's), and only give Nega Den-O the shooting finisher (I know he only used that on the movie, but I was hoping he'll use the other Dengassher mode :sweat:)

brakawani didn't even get warning ride as his special, let alone finisher, so yeah, that's a bummer, should've switched the cobra head attack as jumping special and a sliding kick as ground special IMO

i'm just grateful nega den O got a finisher at all, a cool one that is, its just weird doing that move (the slo mo dodge) when some else isn't shooting at you however...
 
while this has probably already been asked. But I can't find it anymore, how does one activate the giant blue aura and power up?

1. Blasting Freezer (Tricera Stun, Ptera Freeze, Tyranno Tail crush)and

2. Ground of Rage (millions of cell medals induced axe whacking)

Some random thoughts:

- All of the Showa Riders who don't have swords are stupidly, STUPIDLY underpowered against all other Riders that do
- Using 2 Riders is kind of pointless since they both use the same health bar
- Den-O Sword form is still useless
- The voice acting for most of the Showa riders is hilariously bad
- Does anyone know what that power-up-the-belt-and-then-get-a-short-description-of-their-super-attack thing the Showa Riders get is about?
- Black RX gets Biorider and Roborider as super forms, both of which are CONSIDERABLY weaker than RX regularly. Roborider is also faster than Biorider. This makes no sense for a lot of reasons.
- Punch Hopper and Kick Hopper have basically gone from being the worst characters in the game to the best
- You could pretty much unlock the entire game's content in 3 hours
- Ragnarok mode is gone, thank goodness. Unfortunately you still get the moderately awful free roaming bits and the content-unlock process is still a grindfest.
- It feels really stupid having to unlock content that's identical from that of the last game with characters that are identical to that of the last game
- OOO still jumps to full combos when using a havy chain, ruining any fun that could be had with random combos
- Fourze is pretty fun to play as, the switches are handled really well.

So basically it's a standard Climax Heroes game with a little bit of extra content and none of the problems of the last game fixed.

well, we got lookalike attacks for both moves(first part of CHF's putotyra finisher, and his neutral O special)

henshindut is indonesian...IIRC, and that's the name of shadownmoon in the indonesian version of BLACK..

not really, if speed is your qualm, amazon are as fast, if not faster than most heisei characters in game, nigo has superarmor with his rider punch IIRC so that takes care of trading hits

again, it depends, ever tried double breast cannon spam? can kill with just a full rider gauge(which will let you enter climax time while still spamming it, thus killing your opponent), other riders with similar "beam" special also benefit from this

- Den-O Sword form is still useless
do explain in depth as of why? and since when?

most of the real ones are either too old or perhaps even died already to do them, and shadowmoon has the actual VA voicing him

it's a shout out/tribute, have you ever watch a showa rider series before? at some point the narrator will do the exact thing when the rider does their attack

true, but only on the "super forms" part, they should've given it a green gauge instead of red so he can switch between all 3 freely

bwuh? the hoppers were always top tier even before they got finishers, if you actually able to play the game decently without spamming finishers that is

the roaming bits are actually fun if you're a fan of showa riders, the wii version pictures it better than the PSP actually, as for contents, its actually much faster to unlock all contents now, plus you're contradicting your own statement above this one

unlocking finishers and photos were never a "grindfest" to begin with since you only need to finish arcade mode less than 10 times to get all photos and you don't even need to finish arcade mode at all to get all finisher videos

- It feels really stupid having to unlock content that's identical from that of the last game with characters that are identical to that of the last game
in the latest MK, you still need to unlock quan chi, of all characters, go figure, ditto with dynasty warriors and the likes of them

- Fourze is pretty fun to play as, the switches are handled really well.
some switches are still useless IMO, like the lightbulb thing and camera, chainsaw is also disappointing aside from one combo in elec states

So basically it's a standard Climax Heroes game with a little bit of extra content and none of the problems of the last game fixed.
the extra contents are quite many compared to CH>CHW but less than CHW>CHOOO(which has more just because it "assimilated" KRDK)

it adds some new gameplay features(assault&tag grooves+showa style gameplay) but in turn has worsened the older grooves altogether:

-no more form change combo cancels, which makes the green gauge lost their charm, the likes of decade has no point in using green gauge since decade complete is better now, ditto with den O and kuuga, since they can pick a form(usually their superarmor one) and also have their ultimate form on the same time, the only ones left are OOO and W, which still have a meager benefit when using green gauge, and fourze, which as you stated, are quite okay with the switches

-you can no longer "counter" using orange gauge because you can only summon them while not being hit, making the only unique thing about them vanish onto thin air, ditto with diend's version of the gauge, what's with a very controllable tag groove introduced

-speed groove has really slow charge speed and seems to have less duration while active, making clock up a very small advantage now when activated, it doesn't balance their crap defense anymore even though they got "better" movesets while clocked up now("better" is a lie, dark kabuto is miles better in CHW and CHOOO even without the finisher)

-red gauge also becomes moot aside from their exclusive finishers, because you can just use tag groove and have TWO ultimate forms teaming up without needing to gauge charge

the best thing to do is bring back most of the original CH gameplay with the new CH contents IMO, CH&CHW was the most fun CH game so far to me, gameplay wise.
