Well now, isn't this a more flamboyant way to present a fanfic isn't it? Welcome to the Kamen Rider Calibur thread. As you can somewhat see, this isn't a typical fanfic project, it's something rather huge. Well, that's what I'd like it to be, but I'm always filled with delusions of grandeur.

ANYWAY. The way this fic will be presented is in a more organized fashion, allowing you readers easy access to finding new chapters and goodies rather than wading through comments to find what I posted.

How you ask? All chapters will be posted via links in the next post to a shared fanfiction.net account Kayla and I share. So, you'll see something like this:

Yes, this is the song Eric will perform in Chapter Two. This also serves as a theme song of sorts for Calibur. Unusual yes, but I like it.

What the-?! Staff? Geez, Wes, don't be so bloody Prussian. -__-U

Let me start out by saying to ignore Wes' comments about himself seeming annoying. He's a cool guy...96% of the time.

Anyway, just dropping by to offer my two cents on the whole project about to evolve. Both Wes and I have been writing for years, and we're both infamous for taking our favorite things and adding a little...twist that we can call our own. However, in the creativity department, he takes the cake.

Kamen Rider Calibur is the comedic and whimsical, yet mysterious and action-packed brainchild of a couple of kids, but we definitely know we have what it takes to entertain you. And hell, if you do like our story, please help us improve, too. If you feel like you can add a bit to the story, or maybe even do some concept art, get in touch with either Wes or myself and give us your best shot. And while positive comments are loved and rewarded with as many internets and imaginary cyber cookies as we can bake up in Photoshop, any criticisms and critiques would be encouraged, too. While we recognize that we aren't exactly anything near Shakespeare or Orwell, we also aren't your average, dime-a-dozen "lolI'mgonnamakemyownriderwhoPWNSanyotherriderlol" fanfiction writers either.

So, what have you got to lose? I think it's a safe bet to say that you're in for quite a treat. ^^

Why *sniff sniff* what have we here? Hehe hi there! I'm Afro obviously but on FF I am known as Dakegun. These opening post have some sort charisma about them. I think I'll read the fic...*Reads chapter and comes back* You guys definitetly got me hooked. The chapter had good detail and descriptions and I could really envision the places and whatnot. The characters Sam and Eric are funny. I mean they act just like some of my friends and myself do sometimes. Sarcastic and immature jokes, small info on how the nobles work and other little bits in the dialogue and writing really makes it more interesting to read. No action in this part but that's why I'll looking forward to the next. This story does radiate something different than other kr fics. Rest assured I'll definitely keep up with this. :thumbs:

I am enjoying this....surpriseingly so. Then again compared to some of my fanfics which are....questionable, this is actualy realy good so far. I intend to read the rest of it and leave a more detailed post momentarily. Yep I want more....now...anyway, so will only one of your boys be a rider, both, belt swaping, the sky is the limit. The only thing I could realy ask for is at least one female rider at some point. God only knows I love female riders for some reason...

Heh, I'm glad you guys like the first chapter. Definitely helps me get over the "liftoff jitters."

Sam and Eric were definitely my favorite parts to like, the whole plot really evolved from these two characters I just created for no real reason.

Also for the lack of action, well, I tend to balance things more. I find that most fics just rush to action and don't really delve into more personal conflicts that a Rider can't defeat with a Rider Kick.

As for what I have planned for what formula the story will follow in terms of Rider lineup, I'll give a hint: the arc title. ^^

Also, I added a link to The Bard's Song by Blind Guardian. This is the song mentioned by Sam and serves as a possible theme song to the story. Enjoy!

Okay, status update on this one... for the three of you that read this. XD

My laptop went kaput, causing me to lose all I worked on. However, Kayla has helped me recover what she had, since she's been editing my work for me. So, the damage is not as bad as it could be. I will continue working on this, so don't fret. ^^
