Obviously, it's not that they're particularly mysterious ones or anything, just a lot of grinding. Outside of the obvious one (the Rider Road), do you guys have any suggestions/tips for the best way to go about these? I know I spent like two hours biking around an area one night and I have no idea how much closer I am to that one after that, but it put me off the game for a while.
I imagine using Wizard Infinity with the Gatakiriba figure is the best way to go about it, though? Are there any especially good grinding areas/stages for these?
Thanks in advance for any help!
- Clear all Rider Roads
nothing special, just use your fave characters and beat everything, simple, BW2 is way harder than this, make the rider road feels like a cakewalk, i used Accel for beating every single rider road
for survival/final road, equip a figure that lets you heal, like Wizard water style or Kiva Emperor since there will be no external source of healing there
- Get all figurines
- Get all BGM and voices
- Buy 30 things from the shop (... I would have thought I'd done this one)
uhh, obvious answer, just equip Diend for more shop point and only buy the items when there's a 20% sale
- Total combos break 100,000
Wizard Infinity sucks, i prefer Accel, R2/machine gun spike on a crowd already does a ton of hits, the following attacks while you're in Trial form nets a lot more, Hibiki is also great for comboing
also, if you got a bonus stage, equip Decade Gekijotai figure on Accel with 2 combo figures(use one that extends your combo duration and another than adds your combo count), and just transform to Trial at a crowd, de-transform, transform again, etc. do it until time over, you'll get 20K++ combos in no time per bonus stage, don't do this in a regular stage because the infinite gauge figure does not maintain your combo if you get hit or stay idle, unlike regular super attack/ultimate forms do.
there's a lot of better figures than gatakiriba for comboing, on top of my mind, Kabuto, Faiz Axel, and IIRC Phoenix give you combo up L...or something like that, just look at the figure list, it's been a long time since last played BW1, also, combo figures kinda stacks, so just equip lots of them, i got the 100000 combo trophy way before i got to Final Road
- Ride 555 km on bikes
just keep riding, you will eventually get it, just fight through a stage and empty the boss lifebar but don't kill them, and then run around the stage until there's like 2 minutes felt and finish the boss, i took me...5 stages of doing this before i got the trophy
of course i already drived a lot while playing normally and have got every single trophy before i attempted this, so if you tried to get this earlier, it might took you more than 5 stages and i suggest to get this the last, to save you from boredom, just make sure you drive you bike when playing normally and try to get everything else first.
oh and if you are a completionist, BW2 is way easier to platinum than BW1 to takes me less than half of the time i needed to plat BW1, mostly because:
-there are no 555km bike trophy
-buyable stuffs are ALL super cheap, there are no figures that goes over 10K in price IIRC and you still get discounts, there's no need to use the Diend figure to boost your money anymore
-Survival mode is way more fun than rider road, since 95% of the stages that BW2's chronicle mode has is also available in Survival, whereas BW1's Rider Road only have like, less than half of the chronicle mode stages in Rider Road, and they kept repeating the same stages for several roads("attack of W?!" is one of the stages they kept using)
in BW2, each survival mode rounds will have 4 stage selections, all of which are random, and bonus stages appears at random too, instead of being a 4th stage like BW1, so there's a chance that when you play a survival course, you will have nothing but bonus stages to pick from, which translates to a ton of free EXP and money.
-slightly faster loading times, this might be trivial, but faster load means more time spend playing, i couldn't stand playing two rider road courses(6 stages) back to back in BW1 since it takes very long to load each stages, it feels much faster in BW2 so i can stomach 2-3 courses(9 to 15 stages total, some survival courses have 4 to 5 stages instead of the usual 3 sets) before quitting.
