~Saint John Police HQ~ 3: 30pm.

“Meng Yeow! Meng Yeow!†cried the young woman, chasing after this all Asian man, with slightly long, black hair. Dressed in a white, button-up shirt with black dress pants, and a beige trench coat over it; he turned facing the young woman, moving his bangs away from his eyes that were covered by his glasses.

“Yes…?†he asked facing the lovely, young lady who wore a black t-shirt and jeans, along with a pair of normal black sneakers and a leather jacket. Leaning over she caught her breath and stood up straight. Meng Yeow waited patiently for her reply, keeping his hands warm in his trench coat pockets.

Still breathing a bit heavy the women replied, “Meng Yeow…next time wait for me…Don’t run off!â€Â

“I walked…†responded Meng Yeow rolling his eyes slightly, leaning his head off to the right a bit.

“Whatever…†she said putting her shoulder length, brown hair into a pony tail, “Next time just wait… we’re partners, aren’t we?!â€Â

“Yes… Kat, we are… But I just happen to walk faster then you.†Meng Yeow smirked.

“Pfft… Let’s go.†She replied walking off through the parking lot with Meng Yeow following close behind. The entire lot was peaceful and quiet during the late afternoon, not a soul was in there except for the two young officers. The only noise that was heard was the tapping of Meng Yeow’s brown, leather shoes against the cold, hard pavement of the lot while they walked towards this white, Honda Civic. A red siren was placed above the drive’s side on the left. It was not active.

Quickly they opened the doors and got in, then closed them with a big, echoing thud as the doors latched shut. On the passengers side Kat opened the glove box, and took out this small object wrapped in a dark, grey cloth. She unraveled it and took the object out of the cloth. It was a silver revolver, six shot.

Looking over Meng Yeow blinked for a moment as he couldn’t believe he saw her take out gun hidden in his car’s glove box. In fact he was surprise that there was a weapon hidden in there. He didn’t even keep an extra gun in there, so it must be hers he thought.

“So you kept a gun hidden in my car…?†he asked giving her a blank stare, then raised his left eyebrow.

“Yep,†replied Kat frankly, “Problem with that?â€Â

“Nope,†Meng Yeow replied shaking his head as he turned the ignition, then put the vehicle into gear and started to drive out of the parking space, “Not at all…â€Â

Kat could tell he was trying to ignore what just happened just incase he happened to tick her off. She definitely knew that Meng Yeow knew her pretty well and questioning her was not a wise idea. While taking the cloth and shining up the barrel of the gun just to make her partner a little nervous, she grinned a naughty smile and then turned away looking out the window beside her as they exited the parking lot. The sun made her shone away from it since the sun was so bright. Even for late afternoon it was bright. Although after a bit she got use to the brightness, but took her shades out from the inner pocket of her jacket. “That’s better.â€Â

“Hmmm..?â€Â

“Nothin’… Just the sun is bright, that’s all,†she replied.

Driving up the road from the Reversing Falls Restaurant, this tall well built man with a crimson helmet, wearing a grey t-shirt and black jeans and steel-toe boots on this dark blue Honda Rhome, stopped at the top of the main road after taking the detour. He looked back and forth to see if he could get out into the street but an endless, line of traffic held him back from doing so. Lowering and shaking his head in disbelief he waited patiently for someone to give him a break to get out. To bad he couldn’t go the other way he thought, but the place he needed to be was in the other direction of this two-way street.

Staying there he left his right signal on and continued waiting patiently. “This sucks… Jesus… Come on give a guy a break…†he sighed as he talked to himself for a moment then a horn beeped loudly, grabbing his attention. Turning his head to the left he saw this white Honda Civic with a red siren on top, he noticed the person waved to him that he could go ahead. A smile grew on his face under the helmet and so he gestured back, thanking the driver and quickly rode out onto the main road and went on his way down the street, which still had some cars lined up but they swiftly began moving again.
= = = =
“Why’d you do that?†asked Kat putting the revolver away, back into the glove box.

“It’s a nice gesture Kat. Just because we enforce the law, doesn’t mean we have to be snobs.â€Â

“I know, I was just kidding.â€Â

“I see…â€Â

“Really… you mean those spectacles actually work?†chuckled Kat.

Meng Yeow just ignored her and then continued paying attention to what was going on around Sim’s Corner. The intersection was certainly busy for a Monday he thought, but construction could be the real reason for such traffic jams and such. Then his gaze came over to the left and he noticed the Tim Hortons. “Hey, want a coffee?â€Â

“Nah… I’m good, let’s just get over to that warehouse and do our jobs then we can go home…†she sighed and leaned back in the beige, cushioned seat.

“Ok,†replied Meng Yeow as he followed up right behind the biker he had let go ahead of them. Sitting there his thoughts made him wonder what was really going on in that warehouse. Nothing was really accurate in what the security officer gave in the report to them. What could it be?

“A penny for your thoughts…†she said to him with a smile.

“Nothing… Just thinking about the report he gave us… It doesn’t give us much to go on or to expect…†he replied as he looked to see if anyone was coming down the lane. No one was coming after the last few cars so he headed out right behind the biker. Driving the along the bridge and down the streets towards the inner part of the city, Meng Yeow was still behind the biker. Where was he going? He thought. Couldn’t be the same place they were, could it?

Suddenly the biker took a left and headed up another street towards the New Brunswick museum. Watching the Rider dart up the road, Meng Yeow pondered for a moment, but then just shook it off and kept going straight.
= = = =
The Rider came up the road then made a right down Brunswick Street; he kept looking at the old houses as he drove by, including some new ones that were put up, and then drove past a large, gritty church. Hitting the breaks, the bike stopped came to a halt and he looked around at his surroundings. Nothing was out of the ordinary, yet. Although something was amiss, something evil he could sense was lurking about. Maybe it was not after him he thought, but still feeling that it was his duty to stop it no matter what. One would ask him how if he told you he felt he had to do something about it. His reply would be a complicated one. That he knew for certain.

All of the sudden the feeling went away so he revved the bike and continued driving along. Though he kept what he sensed in the back of his mind while he rode onward down the street. Stopping at a sidewalk he waited to as some cars drove by then made a left up another road, towards the North End of the city. The North End was the bad part of town you could say, with old, beaten down houses, and apartments.
= = = =
~Lower North End~ 4:50pm.

Arriving a little while later, Meng Yeow parked the car a few meters away from the entrance of the dirt road leading up to this hazel, worn down warehouse. Windows were boarded up along with most on the bottom floor being smashed open. Even the doorway was shut by debris and boards that were placed there to make sure no one could get in.
They got out of the vehicle quickly and then shut the doors closed behind them, and then they ran up the dirt road bit to where they saw this tall man, with spiky, dark hair, wearing glass and a dark blue suit along with a black tie and leather shoes. He was an Asian man as well, after turning about to face Meng Yeow and Kat who were coming up the road.

“Meng Yeow. Kat, good you’re here,†said the Asian man.

“Basil… what’s going on here?†asked Meng Yeow stopping a few feet from him.

“Yeah. What are we doing here anyways… like just the three of us?†Kat questioned resting her hands on her hips, and winked a Bas, teasing him a bit.

“Well all we know is that we have been getting nearly endless reports on disturbances out here. Some people that drive by call in seeing things running loose in this abandoned place. I think we should check it out.†Bas replied turning around, and looked the building up and down then shook his head, “Well we could be here for a little while checking the whole place out… Kat do you have the permit?â€Â

“Yes… But don’t you think we should get someone guys to help us cover this place quickly?â€Â

“Hmmm I’ll call in for backup, but you two go on in ahead.â€Â

“Alright, come on Kat,†said Meng Yeow as he took charge and walked briskly towards the blocked doorway. He glanced over the doorway thoroughly looking for an opening in which to enter the warehouse. Though the way things were stacked and placed to block entry, Meng Yeow noticed that it seem like it was meant to keep something in, rather then keeping something or someone out, “Hey… Look at this… Doesn’t look like it is meant to keep someone in, instead of keeping someone out?â€Â

“Hmmm, yeah it does… Well let’s move these boards out of the way…†she said as she began pushing the dusty, chipped boards back, then Meng Yeow kicked down the remaining ones and tosses some of the jip rock that had fallen aside. Though what surprised him was how the boards just snapped so easily, as he crouched through the opening he had made.

“For trying to keep something in, those boards are really efficient… Bas!†Meng Yeow yelled out quickly grabbing his attention.

“Yeah?!â€Â

“Get the guys at Forensics to carbon date these, Alright!?â€Â

“Ok!â€Â

Slowly they continued on their way inside the old, rundown building. It felt dark, dusty and damp when they wandered down this long, poorly lit, corridor. As they came near the end of the hall, there was a black pool of some sort of liquid on the floor. Curiously the two of them came over towards it and crouched down to get a closer look. Neither of them knew what it was exactly though. The dusty, stale air made it hard to smell the sent of it as Meng Yeow leaned down closer to it, but then Kat took out this swab and rotated the cotton tip of it around in the soupy liquid. Quickly they found out it was thick, thicker then it looked while on the ground. And it was red.

“It’s too thick to be blood… I think…†she stated putting the swab in this small, clear, cylinder then screwed the cap on top of it, as she arose.

Looking up Meng Yeow’s eyes came to find this battered, door with scratch marks running down the front of it, about three inches deep and 2 inches wide. It couldn’t have been down by a dagger or some kind of wild animal, though that proved to be logical that it could be the doing of an animal. He too arose and contemplated on what might have happened here, except this curiosity drove him to the old, white, battered door.

“Go back and tell Basil I’m going deeper into the house, I have a hunch that I might find what happened here through that door,†he said pointing directly at the door, then turned back to Kat who he could tell was creeped out by this place, “You alright?â€Â

“Yeah… Just I don’t like these kinds of places…â€Â

“I thought you were into the supernatural things?â€Â

“That was when I was in High school, but this place does have an evil vibe to it… I can tell ya that much,†replied Kat putting the sample in her pocket then she reached back and un-holstered her Glock, “But I need some fresh air anyways, this stale crap is really annoying my sinuses… I’ll tell Bas you are heading in further though.â€Â

“Thanks.â€Â

“No problem,†she replied and turned around, then walked back out of the building.

Hesitantly he gripped the handle of the door while steeping over the puddle of blood, and turned it till he heard the clank of the door unlatching, then carefully, while his heart began beating faster, opened it to find a doorway covered in darkness.
= = = =
Meanwhile the Rider came by the very same place but crept up with his bike after noticing the cops were already there. He blinked for a moment as he saw the woman with shoulder length, brown hair tied up in a ponytail, quickly rush out of the place and came over to this Asian man. His gaze focused on the young woman for the longest moment. Not being able to believe who he was seeing his heart beat louder, almost like a drum while he stared at her. Then his eyes lowered down to the dirt ground as emptiness and pain filled inside.

“Kat… Pfft, she won’t remember me… Mostly everyone I ever knew thinks I’m dead…†he said and then revved the bike up a bit, and turned about only to find this hidden road, covered with branches, bushes and twigs. To the left was a “No Trespassing†sign engulfed in old, dying vines. Suddenly a sharp pain came into his head. Closing his eyes he lowered his head a bit and a flash of something occurred within his mind. It was like a shard of glass being jabbed into his brain!

An image of that exact same road appeared in his thoughts as clear as day, though it was night, and raining. It came down hard, making the road slipperier then ice almost. There was a sudden flash that jolted him and the memory continued. He now saw this tall, muscular man with semi-long, dirty blonde hair covering his face slightly. With only drenched, beige pants and black sneakers on as he ran through the pelting rain. Trying to outrun the storm and leave the open hidden road, suddenly he tripped and fell down into the mud. No, that didn’t stop him either as he rose up to his feet and continued onward but fell to his knees as he reached the sign, his breathing heavy, his heart pounding uncontrollably as he reached up into the air with both arms yelling at the top of his lungs!

He then broke out of the flashback and shook his head to remove the foggy feeling he felt in his skull. Then he forced himself to focus on his task at hand he revved up the motorcycle and drove at full speed down that hidden path. Slicing through the branches and twigs he made his way down a nearly spiraling, rocky road to the bottom of this waterfall that came over a cliff above. Shutting the bike off, he knocked the kickstand down and dismounted. Taking off the crimson helmet, revealing long, dirty blonde hair he placed the helmet on the handle bars, and slowly walked along towards the waterfall. And found an opening right behind it, feeling as if he knew it was there all along which slightly creeped him out.

“A cave…?†he questioned to himself then hesitantly began walking deep, down into the cave. Curiosity took hold of him as he went deeper into the darkness, the light slowly faded out the further he went. Unexpectedly he found this winding staircase that led up somewhere above the confines of the pitch black cave. Cautiously taking his time he walked up on the winding staircase and found this dim light shining down. Being able to see a bit clearer was good he thought, but the unexpected things that may happen was something he wasn’t looking forward to.

Meng Yeow wandered around a bit finding the place a mess, with rooms that were like some sort of lab, with tables and chairs on the ground and tipped over. Chemicals were splattered along the walls of some, and in a couple hallways he walked through. Suddenly tripping over something that was laying on the floor he stumbled to regain his footing. Only that he couldn’t see what it was that he stumbled upon exactly as it was too dark in there. Though it appeared to be hanging out the doorway which had the door slightly shut, with very little light coming into that room, so cautiously opening the door up a bit more that had a squeaking, creepy noise coming from it meaning that the hinges where in fact pretty old. Reaching and patting the wall to the left of him he tried searching for a light switch.

Turning on the Florissant lights above on the ceiling which brightened up the entire room, and to him it seemed like every other room he looked into but it was much larger. An operating table was in the middle with chemistry tools and beakers everywhere, glass shattered along the floor on the other side. Slowly his gaze came down to the doorway.

“JESUS CHRIST!!!†gasped Meng Yeow jumping back into the wall behind him, only to fall through it and land on his back upon the solid, concrete. Cringing in pain, struggling up to his feet he looked through the hole in the wall before him. What is going on in this place, everything seems to be falling apart he thought, but then both his eyes went back to what he had noticed on the ground. A mutilated body of teenager, lying there, blood dripping down its open wounds along his face and chest, then Meng Yeow noticed the right arm of this kid was missing. By the looks of it ripped out, or chewed off.

Pulling out his revolver, Meng Yeow walked out of the hole and continued down the hall way in search for some answers. Though would they be the ones he wanted to find out he thought. His pulse quickened with every step he took going through the horrific underground of the warehouse. It was like the hospital of horrors and experiments that could rival Doctor Frankenstein’s.
= = = =
After wandering around for the longest time, the Rider found this large, empty room with very little sun light coming in like everywhere else, but this room was deeper down in the warehouse. Most of the windows were boarded up except for two, and one was shattered open. Glass shards were everywhere near the far left hand corner of the room. The room was a dark, green color and in the form of an operating room. What gave it away was the large, steel slab in the center of the room that was meant to be a bed. Surgical instruments were scattered on the ground near the right side of the slab. Blood still stained upon the scalpel and on many other cutting and surgical instruments.

His heart slowly came to a stop as he took in the horrific imagery of the operation room walls of pictures of someone being cut up with needles and other instruments driven into the body of this individual. Along with tubes that had this chemical being fed into him. Mechanical parts where shown as well on the far left end wall. They were being inserted into the man’s body as well, and the final photo was a close up of someone sown up and this metallic, silver and black belt with a round, silver buckle that had some kind of red spiral gem in the center of it, around the person’s waist.

Another vision hit again, forcing him to grab hold of the pale, green railing in front of him. There was a sudden squeak and a rusty sound as he put his weight onto the top bar of the railing. Suddenly giving way it made him nearly fall over, although he caught himself on the second bar while the vision pounded within his skull.

He saw the silhouette of surgeons standing over him while a bright light was beating down upon them all. Squinting was all he could do since lifting his hand to shield his eyes from it was out of the question. Looking down there were large, bulky, steel restraints around his wrists. The vision suddenly ended and he awoke looking down at the pale green floor, though still standing on the top of the stairs, leaning against the railing.

Coming down the stairs cautiously his palms began to sweat, his pulse quickened while he heard voices surround him from every direction. The beat of a heart rate monitor echoed in his mind. It was going lower, and lower, and lower but all of a sudden it stopped as the single tone emerged out of all the yelling and ramblings of the doctor’s voices. Hardly being able to make it all out, he tried not to focus on it any further.

“Ok…†he said glancing at the operation table, the arm restraints were rusted and broken. Moving his left hand over, her touched the completely broken restraint on the right, only to receive a slight shock and, another memory. Closing his eyes tightly and gripping fiercely on the broken clasp his mind was flooded with feelings and images of the doctor’s placing metallic objects, and sharp tools down into his open chest cavity.
He could feel every bit of the pain of things being taken out and replace with that heavy, coldness of something non-living. Dropping to his knees he held his sides and the visions died down at bit, only to have his gaze upon the bloody scalpel before him on the cold, pale green floor, stained with coagulated blood.

Hesitantly picking it up in his trembling hands, it felt cold to the touch. It must have been there for years he concluded. A sharp pain was felt in his chest, driving him down to the floor. Letting go of the scalpel, it fell and went flying across the cold floor. Gritting his teeth his heart began to hurt while a dagger was being driven into him!

“It’s only in your mind, Rob. Relax and let it go,†said a voice from the shadows in the right hand corner of the room.

Standing up he pushed the pain out of his mind and slowly it faded away from his body as well. Looking up into the shadows he couldn’t tell who was standing there, so he squinted a bit but then the voice spoke again.

“You don’t remember me, Rob?â€Â

“Mike…?†Rob replied stepping back a bit, “What’s going on…? Why are you here!?â€Â

“I’ll explain what I know… But first,†he replied and slowly stepped into the light and headed to a long, steel table near the left wall. There was a laptop sitting there, closed. He opened it up slowly and it awoke, the screen came on showing several squares with different areas of the entire warehouse, “Seems like we have an uninvited guest here…â€Â

“Huh?â€Â

“A police officer… Hmph, I know him. His name is Gan Meng Yeow, transferred from Singapore police department to here,†Mike replied smirking then turned, facing Rob, “He’s the one who tried looking for you when you went missing.â€Â

“So…? Wait, what do ya mean, missing?†asked Rob curiously, but cautiously as he took a step forward and glanced at the monitor on the laptop.

“Twelve years ago, this very night… You were attacked by a creature that is not any normal, wild animal. Get that around your head first.â€Â

“Twelve years…!†Rob gasped as he sat down on the cold, hard floor.

“As I said, twelve years, you were attack by a creature. Mortally wounded and you were going to die. So an hour later I found you bleeding to death and brought you to the hospital. You died… In there. Though I saw them take your body to this black van and followed them here. It looked like another hospital which I found strange since you were just a corpse. But I saw things that I shouldn’t but I kept hidden and continued following till I found this room.†Mike explained as he took a seat on the table and glared down at the floor with a sad expression, his long, brown coat hung over the table as well, then he placed his black baseball cap on the other side of the laptop. Guilt loomed over his head as he remembered that night.

“Wait, if I was dead then how did, I have these flashes of seeing what was happening, and feeling it?†Rob stood back up and walked over towards Mike, “What the hell happened to me?â€Â

“They infused you with this liquid that someone reactivated your cells. Then they ran an electrical current through you to start your heart, brain and to keep your muscles from atrophying. Next was the surgery…â€Â

Rob looked down at the freezing floor and then leaned back against the side of the table, “What did they put inside me?â€Â

“All of that…†replied Mike as he turned and pointed at the photos on the back wall, “But… that last one with the belt. That’s not yours…â€Â

“Huh?â€Â

“You belt has a blue gem,†he said with a bewildering tone, then turned to the laptop to find two weird looking, humanoid figures moving within the shadows the warehouse, “They’re early…â€Â

“Who?!†gasped Rob as he spun about and faced Mike.

“The creatures that were made here as well, though these two keep coming back here… Bringing people with them.â€Â

“I don’t see anyone with them,†stated Rob looking confused a bit as well as feeling sick to his stomach thinking about him being turned into this thing, “First I’ve been violated and turned into some kind of…. -CYBORG?!â€Â

“I dunno what exactly they turned you into, but I know for a fact that you have the ability to stop these things. Also they don’t need to bring anyone this time, since two perfect meals are already in here… Not counting us of course.â€Â

Paying close attention to the lower, left hand screen Rob noticed Meng Yeow walking through corridors. Then up near the lower right corner, was Kat who was searching around as well now. Finally his eyes came to the middle screen and the two humanoid creatures were clinging to the walls as they made their way through the darkness. His gut tightened, with the feeling of anxiety right around the corner as he clenched his fists in frustration,†I have the ability to stop them?â€Â

“Yes… I don’t know how you can do, but I know you can. If I know you well enough, and how you feel about innocent people being hurt for no good reason, you’ll do everything in your power to stop that from happening.†Mike said then headed towards the shadows, “One more thing… Don’t come back looking for me.â€Â

“Why?â€Â

“I won’t be here.â€Â

“Why?!â€Â

“‘Cause I don’t have long to be here explaining, but that’s all I know to tell you the truth. The person who can tell you more about that belt and about your abilities, his name is Chris Rupert. Find him, and you’ll get some more answers.†He disappeared into the darkness leaving Rob there, alone inside the horrific operating room. Quickly he looked back to the laptop.

“Oh no… No… No more death!†he shouted and ran towards the side of the staircase, except instead of running up the steps, he leaped up about ten feet into the air and landed right at the top, “Nani..? Nandaeoh? He wasn’t lying, -HMPH!â€Â

Dashing down through the dark halls and corridors he ran faster then he thought possible it was like something, changed inside of him all of the sudden. What was it? Was it the stuff put inside him? Questioned bombarded his mind while he continued racing through the warehouse trying to catch up with the creatures. Feeling exhilarated, his legs pushed him faster and faster, he didn’t even need to stop to catch his breath. It was the thought of saving them, no matter what the cost that drove him, that brought out his will for justice!

A bright, white light shone around his waist as this metallic silver and black belt solidified. The rounded buckle had a blue, spiral gem in the center of it. Not even noticing what was happening he kept up his pace and quickened it every step he took. He was running at nearly super human speed as the gem in the center of his belt began to pulsate slowly, with a dim, blue glow. Then quickly the spiral gem started spinning counter clockwise while the pulsing, blue glow became brighter and faster.

“HENNNN…! –SHIN!!†Rob shouted and suddenly the gem spun in the opposite direction with a spiraling blue light coming out of the buckle. Covering him from head to toe, his body was engulfed with it! Swiftly the light faded away from his body, legs, head, hands and feet all at once and was soaked up into the gem which stopped spinning and had this ancient, unknown, gold symbol in the center of it. His entire body was covered in some sort of suit and armor, with a bug-like helmet. The eyes were red and the main part of the helmet was dark blue. Around the mouth guard was black and the mouth piece itself was silver. Both bladed, antenna, were silver as well and a blue upper body shield was dark blue along with the forearm and shin plates, over a black suit.

Running by the rooms he was a blur to all, but still not noticing what had happened he continued on his way to find those two creatures.

Meng Yeow stumbled into this large open room that had plenty of sunlight coming into for a change. It was a pale green room with an old basketball court that seemed to not have been used for sometime. Scaffolds were in there as well with paint buckets and all, as if it was suddenly left from being finished. This was really odd he thought but took a mental note and continued walking along on his way but peered down over the edge to look at the court one last time.

“Hmmm I wonder if I can make a three pointer, since no one’s around to say if I cheat,†smirked Meng Yeow.

He was then thrashed forward over the railing of the upper level from something that appeared and then vanished out of nowhere. Luckily he grabbed the railing tightly and hanged on for dear life. Something was above him and he looked up after hearing a hissing sound come from above. This humanoid looking figure with eight eyes pounced down at him but landed, crouched on the railing. Quickly Gan Meng Yeow pulled his revolver out and opened fire upon the latter, but to no avail.

“SHHIT!†he cursed and then the being knocked the pistol out of his hand and picked him up by the collar. This eight eyed mutant was stronger beyond belief, and he knew first hand. Only to have him chucked to the bottom of the court and there he tumbled off the mats he had landed on. Lucky he thought, but not so much after he saw the being shoot these long, white threads out of its mouth. It swung down, kicking Meng Yeow in the stomach, making him roll along the floor. Cringing in pain he tried to get up but fell back down onto his knees, “Dammit…!â€Â

As it came around for another pass this being in a black suit, with dark blue armor came out from above and kicked the latter down to the floor. The being landed safely crouched down looking at the injured officer. Both of them looked at one another, only that Meng Yeow was just nearly about to go out of his mind, at first he sees a monster with eight eyes and now this bug-eyed character that saved him from out of nowhere.

“This day couldn’t get any weirder…†he muttered crawling out of the way, but he didn’t notice the monster coming at him from behind. Quickly the blue armored warrior jumped up into the air and leaped forward cracking his elbow into the mutant’s neck. The latter slammed face first into the court then tumbled along. While the blue warrior landed kneeling.

Both beings stood up and faced each other, they waited to see who’d make the next move. Coming into the light the eight eyed fiend was finally revealed as this dark, grey, shell skinned humanoid, spider mutant. Its body was laced with teeth from it’s victims of the past few months. Along with a belt made out of bones and leather. The head of the monster was hairy around the sides and back of it, which were also laced with bones and webbing. In its eyes you could tell it was living on instinct with every move, every twitch it made. You could say it was almost nervous since it seemed to not have been in a battle like this before.

Darting at the creature the warrior punched it across the face, then sent another one into its gut, finally he kicked the latter’s side sending it tumbling along the floor. Crouching slightly, the bug-eyed warrior awaited its reaction. The latter stood up and lunged for him, only to get a dozen punches into its stomach! He moved so fast that he kept the latter from coming down to the ground for the longest time but then as it dropped to its feet, he began a much more lethal assault. Throwing combo after combo with punches and kicks, knees and elbows into the mutant’s body like a jack hammer. Nothing the creature did, stopped him, and finally he threw an uppercut into it’s jaw, knocking into the air. It fell and slammed hard onto the floor, face first.

It slowly rolled onto it’s back cringing in agony as the bug-like warrior pulled back his right fist, and held it back with the palm of his other hand over top of it. “YAHH!!!†he shouted lunging up above the latter. Staying there for two seconds his gem started to spin clockwise and a charge went from it into his arm all the way to his fist. He zoomed down with lightening speed, smaright fist into the latter’s stomach! BOOM!!!

The creature exploded with a blaze of fire engulfing the warrior as he kneeled down. Meng Yeow looked in disbelief as to what had transpired, then as his gaze shifted to the doorway Kat ran to him and stood beside her partner with gun in hand.

“What the **** was that?!â€Â

“Don’t know…â€Â

“Well let’s get the hell out of here before we get crispy,†she said walking out with him behind her. Except something caught there eye, a shadow on the wall of someone standing up. They turned to look and found the bug-eye, blue warrior fully standing unharmed within the confines of the blazing flames.

“HUH?!?!†they gasped in unison while unknown to them the other Spider leaped down from above near the far back of the court. They didn’t even know that another one was coming down as they stayed in awe from seeing this bug-like humanoid surviving a burning fire.

Quickly the warrior’s senses kicked in and he glanced up seeing the second fiend coming down towards the too stunned cops. He flipped back up into the air as this glowing blue symbol, exactly like the one on his gem appeared glowing behind him. Putting his feet together, he landed on it and crouched down. Then he charged up and burst off of the symbol which evaporated into flames then nothing. While the warrior turned his body in the position of a flying side kick, with his right leg extended. “GAHH!!!!†he shouted slamming his foot right into the latter’s face, and latter exploded into millions of pieces!

“Come on Meng Yeow, let’s get out of here before we wined up in some real shit… You can by me the coffee now… I think I need it.â€Â
