I'm well aware of the fun one can have while watching fun and innocent stuff that children enjoy that can still be good. I watch Power Rangers. But lately, when it comes to Tokusatsu the stuff I want is usually dark, epic, and melodramatic. It's just what I like.
But because I've seen many people do it too many times, I'm not going to mix what I like for being that which is the only thing that's good. It's just what I prefer lately and'll make extra time for.

You're not making any sense, man. If it doesn't bother you in the slightest, and you actually enjoy how "charmingly vintage" it is (despite not even being half a decade old), why did you bring it up in the first place?
To make an observation. A minor one at that and a first impression. It's others that're dragging it out that have made a bigger deal out of it than it ever was.
Usually when I see things that are small gripes/I actually like (which is it?), I just don't mention them, that's all I'm saying. Not to try to bust your balls, but even if you didn't try to sound insulting, the way you phrased it definitely made it sound like Agito wasn't worth your time to watch because it's not all CGI and filmgloss.

I'm looking forward to checking it out when I have the time. I wouldn't insult a show I've seen two episodes of and that did the best they could with what they had because I was some style snob that'd judge a show on what it doesn't have and more than likely couldn't have given their budget and given technology.
I don't think there's any point in time when I was saying the show was beneath me or not worth my time. It has understandable shortcomings, that aren't really shortcomings as much as they are what the show had to give at the time and now I'm looking forward to seeing what they can do with it.
Rest assured, of anyone on this board, you won't see me taking a **** on something other people like and calling it utter crap and slamming it to my hearts content to make other people get on the defensive and interfere with their enjoyment.
If I don't like the show, which.... I think is prolly unlikely, I'll prolly just simply say that and not slam the hell out of it. But from what I've seen and what I've heard, I've a feeling this'll be quite enjoyable.
