How's the movie for Agito in comparison to the Faiz and Ryuki movie?
I think Project G4's the best of the Rider movies -- it's nice to have a Rider movie that isn't an alternate universe type thing. I hope you bought the Director's Cut -- that's the way to see the movie.

If it the show was retitled Kamen Rider Knight then it would make more sense because it began with Ren and ended with Ren.
The finale I pictured was a little more "typical" and I guess they wanted an "unexpected" finale, but I think sometimes these writers get in over their heads by trying to be "different" rather than go the "predictable" or logical route.
The premise is Riders murdering each other for a wish. Ren's a cold guy, who's deep down a nice guy, but to save his love, he loses himself in the cold guy, hoodlum persona. The overall important piece of the series' theme is that lovable doof Shinji gradually changes Ren to be the good person he really is. We see that with how he helps from time to time, how he cries of Shinji's death...
I would have liked for Ren to have actually learned something from Shinji -- for him to have beaten Odin and changed his wish from only saving Eri to either unwishing the events of the series or having wished the mirror world never existed/been opened. The twist to that is that Ren would have maintained his memories of the events, while nobody else would -- so his friendships with people like Shinji and Yui no longer exist. It's basically the same finale, but instead of making it the choice of the Kanzakis, it's the choice of Ren. As the series is, Ren's just remained a selfish ass, continuing on with his wish.
It just would have been nice for the series to say something and be a little heroic in the end. As I've said before -- instead of the real finale, I just pretend that Episode Final's the real finale. As flawed as that movie is, I liked how it was done more than the series. Especially the Bruce Lee marching-into-the-center-of-battle end.
