Kamen Rider Agito: Fading Dusk (Sign-Up)

A rash series of murders have swept Japan. This in itself is terrible, but the ways the people are murdered are even worse. Some victims are found hanging in trees, some only have ashes as their remnants, and others die from drowning even when on dry land. The murders seem random, and no clear evidence who's causing it can be found. What the police hasn't been telling the public is that these murders have been caused by mysterious humanoid monsters dubbed as "Unknown". To combat this threat, the police have developed two suits of highly advanced armor to fight against the Unknown. While there is a third armor, the G4 armor, it is deemed unstable to use. While all this is going on, a few individuals with unusual powers are about to be caught up in this conflict, and their participation will escalate this war into something even more terrifying and reveal the Unknowns motives...

Rules:
1. If you are going to join, post regularly. I can not stress this enough. If you can't post, let your character become a temporary NPC or let someone else take over.

2. Pay attention to other people's posts.

3. No godmodding.

4. Don't rush or change the plot. If you have an idea for the plot, PM me.

5. Relationships can be great in an RPG. Just do it naturally and don't make things pop up out of nowhere.

6. There is no rule 6.

7. If you hold up the RPG for more then three days with out notifying the owner, or without a good reason (Example: I'm going out of town) then your character has the ability to be turned into an NPC at the owner's discretion.

History: Tsukiko is actually one of two twins, herself and her slightly older sister, Amaya. They were born into a well to do family and they each had their own dreams. Amaya, being the responsible one, wanted to quickly get her schooling finished to enter the work force and support their family. Tsukiko, who was more immature, thought that she was destined for much more than that and wanted to be something famous, like an actress. Whatever the two planned, however, would suddenly come to a violent end when a drunk driving accident claimed Amaya's life and left Tsukiko in the hospital for almost a whole year.

The accident also brought changes to Tsukiko. Although she made a full recovery, she has spells of muscle weakness, pain, and even fainting. She also coughs up blood on a regular basis, but the doctors cannot find a reason or cure for this. The most startling change, unbeknown to everyone else, came when she was attacked one night by a humanoid jaguar monster, one of the Unknown. On the verge of death, her body transformed into that of a armored humanoid with ash-white skin. After a particularly violent battle, she was victorious and her body regenerated all the damage she sustained during the fight, save for the right crest on her head, which went unhealed for some reason. Tsukiko doesn't want to transform again, but a part of her secretly loves the raw power the transformation brought, as she sees it as a release to the pain she has felt over her sister's death...

Tsukiko's once cheerful and happy personality disappeared the day her sister died. She hardly says anything to anyone and doesn't even respond to most people that speak to her. When she does speak, it is mostly single words in whispers. Once she changes, almost all inhibition is released and she fights like a wild animal. She does have enough control not to attack humans, but anything else is seen as prey, whether it be the other riders or the Unknown.

History: Tsukiko's group of three friends and one of the cliques at her school. They used to spend lots of time with Tsukiko and Amaya, as they were members of the group as well, and they would hang out and talk about the usual things: boys, fashion, and their dreams of what do later in life. Amaya's sudden death shocked the group and they constantly visited Tsukiko when she was hospitalized. The group, especially Natsumi, were saddened by Tsukiko's sudden change in behavior when she got well. Her unresponsive nature put a great strain on their friendship, but Natsumi isn't willing to give up on Tsukiko so easily despite her friend's numerous physical woes. How they'll react once they find out about Tsukiko's secret will be the true test of their friendship...

Personalities:

Rei Toyama: Rei has a timid nature and usually is the voice of reason in the group. Recently, she seems to be in constant pain, with repeated headaches being the cause. Natsumi has been trying to get her to open up more around others. She is also an honor student and class president, causing her teachers to wonder why she hangs around a delinquent like Natsumi.

Natsumi Ito: Natsumi is the charismatic, loud, and brash leader of her self-named group of friends. Natsumi is the one who usually gets them into trouble most of the time, as she constantly defies authority and pulls pranks on students that she considers deserving of it. She also gets into her friend's personal affairs, but she only wants the best for them. Her grades aren't that good and Rei is often seen tutoring her.

Etsuko Tomioka: Etsuko is essentially Natsumi's hyperactive lackey and usually repeats what she says. She does this out of low self-confidence and thinks that being herself isn't good enough. She's a pack rat as well, and collects things that she considers interesting. Oddly enough, her grades are on par with Rei's, but she doesn't realize her own potential.

Appearance:

History: Iwao is in charge of the G-Project, the police's countermeasure against the Unknown. He is a genius but is also a bit eccentric and he devotes a lot of time to his work. His daughter is Etsuko Tomioka, but he hasn't seen her all that often recently due to his constant maintenance of the G Armors. Iwao keeps this and the Unknown secret from her. Even though he doesn't see her that much, he still loves her and wishes to spend more time around her if circumstances were different. It seems his daughter got her habit of collecting from him, as he has numerous seemingly useless trinkets lying about his work spot.

History: Hiroshi was orphaned at a very young age when his parents seemingly died in a car crash. In reality, they were killed by one of the very first reported Unknown killings, their nervous system severed from within their own bodies. Hiroshi was left to a life of loneliness for six years in the orphanarium, never truly grasping just why his parents died. But one day, Hiroshi was adopted by an ex-military agent whose gruff and hardend exterior allowed him to survey the children for the best subject. When his eyes fell apon Hiroshi, he knew he had found the perfect canidate.

Over the next several years, Hiroshi had been trained to fight and to survive for an unknown reason. He never found out why he had been chosen to be trained for some unseen battle, the man one day disappeared with no warning, leaving an 18 year old Hiroshi alone in the world once again.

But, the training he had recieved from the mysterious man had served him well as it allowed for him to get into the Police Academy with high marks. For three more years, Hiroshi had been the posterboy for efficientcy amung the police, earning him some malice from his fellow officers. His spotless record and 200% arrest record made for a very impressive resume for the G2 system. Now, he wears the suit with pride and honor, protecting the innocent from the evils of the Unknown...

Hiroshi is content and mild-mannered, a mix between serious and heartfelt. While he is nononsense in his work, he is kind and gentle on the outside. He has also been noted to view situations with a childish view, asking questions routinely and periodically. Only time will tell if his attitude will change once he sees the true horror of the situation.

Name: Mai Tsubasa

History: An attractive young woman studying at a not-so-prestigious, yet well-known high school, Mai usually did not join in on any of the cliques or clubs at school, mainly because she did not share the general interests the other girls had: boys and fashion. While she did have a few friends of her own, she mostly kept to herself, often found reading a book on adventuring, places to explore, or some fictional novel or manga that involved a hero or heroine going into some adventure. This, however, did not mean Mai was unapproachable, however. She would sometimes help a fellow student out to the best of her abilities, whether it was learning how to tie a square knot or memorizing trig formulas.

Deciding to go on a boating trip one weekend, Mai and her five friends went sailing at the ocean, enjoying the cool breeze, as well as enjoying the view of various fishes swimming about underneath the waves. However, the fun did not last for long, as Mai began to notice the wind becoming more violent, prompting her to turn the sailing vessel she and her friends were in towards shore. That is, until the violent wind developed into a full-fledged storm, causing the little sailing vessel to capsize, which resulted in Mai and her friends getting tossed overboard. By the time the Japanese coast guard reached the capsized vessel, three of Mai's friends have already drowned, while Mai and the remaining two were found unconscious in the water.

Since that incident occurred, Mai had continued to carry the immense guilt caused by the death of her three friends, which in turn began to strain her relationships with the remaining two. Because of that, Mai would often leave school and head for the park, where she would just sit on the bench until the sun set.

One fateful day, however, Mai would encounter a jaguar-like monster, who instantly attacked her. Attempting to defend herself, Mai pounded away at the monster with her fists, but to no avail, resulting in repeated beatdowns at the hands of the malicious beast. Lying on the ground after being brutally battered, Mai thought for sure that she was going to die....until a mysterious light began to shine around her waist. Before she could even begin to ask herself what was going on, the light began to surround her, forming a gold and black armor around her body. Noticing the monster resuming its attack on her, Mai began to fight back once more, with her successfully defeating the jaguar monster, which she knew as an "unknown" from the various headlines she saw on the newspaper.

Since the time of the Jaguar attack, Mai was still unsure of how she got her powers as Agito, as the monster had called her, in the first place, or why she got it. However, she knew that there were more of the same kind of monsters on the loose, and that she had the capability of defeating them. Deciding that she had seen too much to turn back, Mai began to set out on a personal journey -- to combat the threat of the Unknown, as well as to find out more about what she has become.

History:

Natsuki is a very cultured person, often spending her time deep within literature; it's the passion of her life, along with technology and the knowledge of the super natural. Natsuki has bubbly personality one you could easily like no matter. For those she likes, she will show an equal amount of love. For those she hates... Well you get the idea. However, whether Natsuki likes the person or not, she will not forgive those who break promises.

Natsuki is a black-haired police woman of mixed decent, half Chinese and Japanese. She aims to become an expert in the world of the super natural and is working along the Police just to be close to the events that must be seen. These Unknown creatures fascinate her to no end, and she has written several books on them (thought never published to the public) providing information to the department. To help her, with her endeavor, she was some of the few lucky people to be born with a photographic memory. With this she developed an incredible memory: she is able to memorize every single aspect of something she saw.

As much as she likes the study the supernatural, there is much about her that isn’t natural. For example her eyes, Natsuki’s eyes lack many color pigments, therefore her eyes reflect the surround light, changing her eye color. Not too much is known about Natsuki’s past other then the fact that she is the middle child of her family, she grew up in China, then came over to Japan to live with her relatives at the at the age of ten. She was a well to do student and is considered one of the best in the nation. After her High school graduation there were many arguments from her parents pleading her to return to Hong Kong to run the family business (Shipping Industries).

Disobeying her parent’s wishes and being cut off from the family Natsuki joined the police force worked her way up the ranks. She didn’t fit in very well at first, often blaming murders on the supernatural monsters ghosts anything that would cause her superiors to yell at her.Even thought she would often get talked to and left out of cases due to that attitude, her memory ability would force the other officers and superiors to work with her, mostly ending up in solving the case or face her stern lecture of the murderer being some sort of monster.

With her track record the people of the G project kept their eyes on her, until one day she was moved over to the Division, and had her suspicious confirmed, the murder in fact was done by beings known as unknown. With the confirmation, Natsuki worked hard until the department decided to put her at the forefront of the unknown prevention and research by placing her in the G3 armor. So far it has been successful; Natsuki remains one of the most reliable officers for eliminating the Unknown and giving its knowledge to the department. Protecting and serving while learning more this is what always kept Natsuki content.

History: Ryo was the oldest of three the three Kanzato brothers and was the smartest in his class. Ryo was just a ordinary kid throughout his life and just loved to teach his younger siblings things and to help them with their problems. Though one day when Ryo was eighteen his parents died in a car crash and he was left to take care of his siblings. Since he had just graduated from high school Ryo got a job as a detective and was going to college at a local school so he could become a hire up ranking officer. Ryo really had no time to spend with his siblings and was unable to help them like he used to love.

Though one day after two years of being a detective when he had a day off from both school and work he sat down thinking that his siblings were at school and when he turned on the news it seemed that a man who had just robbed a bank had went into the school and had taken a class hostage. Ryo was worried since it was the same school that his brothers went to and was worried that since they were twins and had most of the same classes that it could be them. Ryo got into his car and drove to the school and when he got there he had saw that the police had the place still barricaded and when Ryo showed his badge and said," Detective Ryo Kanzato, what is going on here officer?" the officer replied," The man who was taking the class hostage noticed are men behind the door and he shot everyone in the classroom, he was killed afterwards though." Ryo then was really worried about his brothers and said," Is their a list of the dead, can I see the seen." The man handed him a list of the students in the class and it seemed that his fears had came through right next to each other he saw them halfway down the list and it read," Jin Kanzato, Jun Kanzato." Ryo fell to his knees and started to cry and the officer said what is wrong?" Ryo handed the list back and the officer had remembered Ryo's last name and read the list and saw that two children with the same last name were killed and the man said," I am sorry for your lost." Ryo being upset at the time said," No apologies in the world can unravel time,
why do I deserve this, why god why do you exist if you just make people be surround in pain." Ryo then took a breath and yelled," You son of a bitch you are dead to me!" Ryo then waited to see his brothers as they brought the bodies out to the ambulances.

Eight years later:

Ryo had received his degree in criminal science and gained a two year degree in psychology and was the head of the department at his precinct, and still was in pain from the incident eight years ago. Though on a strange day he got a very important letter from head of a organization and it said," Ryo Kanzato we invite you to are organization as the user of are project G4 if you accept please come outside at five p.m. and you will be escorted to are headquarters. Ryo then did his job until five p.m. where he walked outside to see a limo. Ryo walked up to the limo and said," I am Ryo Kanzato." The man standing infront of the limo opened the door and said," Your escort is ready." Ryo got into the car and was prepared for anything. After four hours he was let out from the limo and escorted to the training facility of the organization's headquarters. Ryo was in the facility and saw on the wall a black suit of armor and he said," What is this for." A man sitting in a chair said," Ryo you have been accepted for you skills in close quarters combat, your expert shooting abilities, and for your intelligence. I believe you are perfect for are Project G4, now if you may please walk over to the armor and we will assist you on putting it on." Ryo went to the armor and two men helped him inside the armor. After getting it on he was handed a helmet and he placed it around his head.

After the armor was activated Ryo could not breath and he heard the man's voice say," Don't worry you will get used to the suit." After thirty seconds Ryo could breath normally and see he then was asked to prove himself for the armor. After fighting the training machines Ryo was then asked," Ryo please take off your helmet." Ryo took it off and the man said," Just like I predicted you are a perfect match." Ryo then asked," So what is this for criminals?" The man nodded and said," This suit is to kill a advance species of unknown creatures who are trying to kill all humans, can you protect the world." Ryo nodded as he took the armor off and took his leave. The old man then said," I want you to watch the other two projects in combat, then you can see the difference in your and their strength." Ryo nodded as he left the facility.

Sorry to double post but here's basically what's going to happen in the first story arc.

Chapter 1: Awakening
Hearing rumors and sightings of a strange white humanoid fighting and killing an Unknown near Tsukiko and Mai's school, the police send Natsuki and Hiroshi undercover as a teacher and student respectively to investigate. Ryo is also sent to monitor their progress in a van outside the school which contains the G2 and G3 armors in case the need arises.

It will be a pretty uneventful day at school for our heroes until the end of the school day, when a teacher is attacked and killed by a group of three Tortoise-type Unknown. They afterwards begin to search the school for something and I think I don't need to explain things from there...
