Kamen Rider 555 - Thoughts and Opinions

Inoue.

But seriously, I'm glad I gave up rewatching Faiz with decent subs. There are so many plot holes, misscommunications that could had been avoided without killing the show's 'drama' and lose ends. I still don't understand why Kusaka would give Takumi the Accel upgrade, EVEN if he preferred that the Faiz gear reminds around him. He could had simply went Accel Kaixa and rub it on Takumi's face. But nope.

And yeah, Accel Faiz looks great, I much prefer an upgrade like this where you can still 'see' the base form.
I really doubt that Kaixa or Delta could use the accel watch considering the watch has the Faiz logo on it.(The same one he has on his belt just with different colors.)

I need to look at it again, but I'm pretty sure that Faiz puts his phone logo INTO the machine to activate it, just like how he activates his camera brass knuckle thing.

EDIT: Nope, nevermind, it has a different version of Faiz's logo and he swaps it with his belt to activate Accel Mode. So yeah, only he can use it.

Still doesn't make any sense for Kaixa to just toss it at him.

It could be argued that he gave Takumi the Accel Watch so that he would be able to protect Mari, the only person he cares about, better in the future.

That said, I have seen the theory that, had Kaixa used the Accel Watch, it would have short-circuited thus creating Break Form.

It would have been great if that had been in the series...

I'm assuming you're talking about something that happened in the movie?

I'll probably finish 555 this weekend. It's amazing how much ground I can cover in such a short time when I set up a schedule for myself over these.

I saw before a picture of Kaixa in an unseen form in both the movie and the series that resembles Faiz Accel Mode a lot, so I'm still doubt that the Accel watch can only be used by Faiz. Oh yeah, and there's Faiz Blaster, which was pretty much the same. Regardless of whether only Faiz could use it, it would had been nice if Inoue had spent the time explaining how Kusaka found it and why would someone like him ever help someone else 'power-up.' In my opinion they should had hinted at Delta sooner than the Dragon Orphenoch arc, or did they?

Here's something that surprised me. I'm halfway done with this show and I have yet to see a single Riotrooper. I thought I would have by now.

EDIT: Good lord, the orphenoc on episode 26 is listening to a remix of a Busta Rhymes song mixed with a bit of Kriss Kross. And it's uncensored! Hey Toei, why didn't you think of making sure you knew what the lyrics are saying before you thought of putting them on your kids show? This is funnier than that one random rap song that played in Kuuga during the Go-Bemiu-Gi two parter. At least that one could pass if they just noticed the one use of "nigga".

THIS song they used on the other hand...

I know I am late to the thread...but I really liked all the concepts of Faiz...my biggest issue with it was the pacing...slooooooooow on the start up, and the end was compressed chaos. Have both Faiz and Kaixa's Figuarts and sooo want a Delta one...

This is a series that really could have used a follow up though...

Oh yeah, there was the puppy. The puppy's life it is then. :( Speaking of Murakami, am I the only one who really loved the Rose Orphenoch?

Guitar Guy's song is surprisingly good D:

The Rose Orphenoch was awesome. He could fight the three Riders at once and he could take all their Exceed Charge attacks and survive.

555 has the best Hyper Battle Video.

I rather like the premise of the movie 'Paradise Lost' as well.

The Hyper Battle Video is entertaining.

Paradise Lost is the best of the Kamen Rider films. It took the best of the series' core concepts and it created a pretty strong story without completely recreating all the events of the series.

It's implied he got it from the remaining members of the cram school, who talk to him about a third belt before he leaves somewhere with them and doesn't answer any phone calls for a few episodes. He comes back in town when Takumi loses the belt (again) and doesn't explain anything to anyone (of course).

It still makes no sense why HE would give Faiz a powerup of any kind, though.

I don't understand why people don't know that Kusaka disappears before returning with the Axel upgrade. It's like they all just read summaries and posts like they've seen the series.

I suppose that Kusaka was interested in seeing the true power of the Gears. The best way to become the most powerful fighter is to understand the true power of others first.

Anyway,

Delta vs. Faiz is awesome.
