Having been woken up by the sound of the fight between Neos and Faiz, Rain merely looked on at the two battling riders with a disappointed look. Mou......Death seems to be even more of a certainty.... she shook her head, knowing that the fight between Neos and Faiz was born out of their hatred for each other as she watched both power down due to injuries.

Witnessing Van get up off the ground, Rain could only sigh some more as she noticed the young man pick her up off of AutoVajin and drop her off next to Will. Looking over to the Psyga user as Van blasted off into the desert as AutoVajin, Rain merely shook her head again. "I doubt anyone will survive if this keeps up," she told Will, deep disappointment evident in her voice.

(OOC: Sorry if this seems choppy. I'm doing this post as fast as I can on the university computers. ^^;; ))

Amethyst saw that Van decided to leave them in his condition and couldn't believe his actions. What is he doing?! It's suicide to go out by himself in his condition...stupid, impulsive idiot! He's just throwing his life away...like it mattered to begin with! Picking herself off the ground, the young resistance leader decided to ask Will if they could start moving. Walking over towards him and still clutching her ribs, Amethyst took her hand off her side and tried to show that she wasn't that hurt, as she didn't want to show weakness. Her voice betrayed that she was hurt, however. "You know where this refugee camp is...I say we get moving as fast as possible...it won't do us any good to stick around with Orga's forces still relatively close..." Amethyst hated the fact that she had to rely on an Orphenoch to save the refugees, but she realized that she had no other choice at the moment.

The survivors who had berated Psyga before had a hard time believing that the leader of the resistance was actually willing to let an Orphenoch lead them to the refugee camp. "Look at her...how could she negotiate with those things..." She heard this and other words berating her actions until she had enough and yelled at them. "Can't all of you shut up and be happy that you're alive! So you got saved by a bunch of Orphenochs...it's better than dying or being captured...so you don't know how lucky you are....now shouldn't you people get ready to move out soon?! I don't want to leave anyone behind, but will if you piss me off..." Some of the survivors left the scene then and there, scared by the young woman's words, while a few others gave her hateful glances before they left.

They think I'm a traitor...I'm just dealing with the Orphenochs to save their lives...why are they so stupid that they can't see that?! Even though I hate dealing with these things... The pain in Amethyst's ribs was excruciating, but she wanted to get the first set of directions from Will before she had her injuries treated.

"Personally its getting harder to care if they survive or not at this rathe." Will toward Rain. "The names Will Valens, though I know this may not be the best time I figured I may as well introduce myself since it looks like we'll be working together a while before we can drop these people off somewhere. " he told her. "Neos." Will said while turning to Amethyst,apparently he didnt know her name either. "I believe we need to discuss a few things before making our next move."

The pain in Amethyst's ribs were making her impatient, but she didn't want to anger the one person who knew the way to the refugee camp. "What are these things you want to discuss? Since we might be sticking around for a while anyway...my name is Amethyst Chevalier, leader of the Mortal Resistance...I just want to make one thing clear...as long as you don't make any trouble, I'll tolerate you being around...just don't act like Faiz, alright? I'll tell my people to give you some space..." A part of Amethyst couldn't believe she was doing this. Any other time, she would have dusted the Orphenoch and go on her way...these two showed that they were different, however. Why am I wasting my time doing this...I have the numbers advantage. I can wear down both Kaixa and Psyga with the troops here and take their Rider Gears...but than again, it's a very stupid plan on so many levels...I just hope I'm not dooming us all...

Thanks to his ability to heal Van was feeling alittle better. "Damn girl. I should've finished her off." He said to himself then he saw three Riotroopers that seemed to be looking for something. "I should just go my way and let them be found, but then again I couldn't live with myself for letting Psyga and Kaixa do more work." Van thought as he gunned his Autovajin and went straight for the Riotroopers under Orga's command. "Hopefully these three are all that are scouting"

 

[Kain]

"My policy is if they dont attack me, I wont attack them. But if they try anything I will defend myself." Will told her. "So now down to business, I know a way to a refugee camp known as Freehaven, its in a safe location and it's hidden pretty well. The inhabitants are good people and they will take in the survivors without much of a fuss. Problem is its kind of far, now I can make the trip there in less than a few hours but I owe that to my gear's flight abilities. Needless to say though not everyone can do that so the three of us and your Riot Troopers ae gonna have to guard them until we get there." he explained. "When the group needs to rest we will take turns looking out for any danger that may present itself, and yes even out here in the Wastelands we still have plenty of it, not only from the harsh conditions but also from feral Orphenochs and human raiders looking to take what they can from groups like this one. For now it looks like everyone is fairly exhausted so we should probably rest here for the night, I'll stand guard for a while and then come get one of you two when my shift is up." he told both Rain and Amethyst.

"Just one more thing Amethyst, while I do want the refugees to get to safety and will recieve protection from me when needed, your Riot Troopers are on their own."

Amethyst took all of Will's words in with a straight face. "I understand about that. I can look after my own men...so just worry about the refugees...now I have to get my injuries checked if I am to stand watch tonight. I'll be at one of the medical trucks." She said all of this with no hint of malice in her voice, but she wasn't exactly being nice, either. Turning around to leave, she headed for the medical vehicles. Reaching it, she was again approached by some Resistance soldiers. "Have you lost your mind?! Now you're giving in to that Orphenoch's demands! Maybe you aren't cut out to be-" Amethyst suddenly punched the soldier across the face. "You don't say if I'm qualified or not, soldier. Are you going to let blind hatred doom the lives of all these refugees?! The nearest resistance base is a long way from here, probably longer than the refugee camp! I don't like this either, but I'm doing what I have to so I can save these people...if you don't like it, leave! You'll just leave more supplies for the rest of us..."

The soldier got up, obviously furious. "Fine...once those two Orphenochs betray the rest of us and slaughter everyone, it's on your head. I'm not sticking around for that." With that the soldier left, heading for the outskirts of the camp. Amethyst turned her attention to his colleagues. "Are you going to join him?! If not then start telling all the other soldiers and refugees to not to provoke the Orphenochs...they are our...allies for the time being..." The two soldiers gave a nervous salute before going off too perform those tasks. The young resistance leader than entered the medical truck, wanting to get her ribs treated...

 

[Kai Narukami]

Van now in his Faiz armor was battling the three Riotroopers with his Faiz Edge. "Damn bastards don't know when to just die!" He took out the Faiz MMC and put it into the hilt of the Faiz edge then hit enter before using the Crimson Slash to destroy all three in one slash. After words he shut the armor down and looked at the Orphenochs turn to ash before looking at his own hand. "I don't have much time...." With that he started the Auto Vajin again and raced off hoping to find something to help them in this war.
