kakuranger vs Hurricanger

They use to have one but not anymore. Everybody pretty much went on to doing other things or different aspects of the culture.

Hurricanger on the other hand is a show that takes a lot of elements from Kabuki theater. Of course, there are some ninja elements in it too (just like we find ninja/samurai references in Kabuki theater), but I always felt that Hurricanger was first and foremost a Kabuki-themed sentai.

Really, that's more the style in which the show was envisioned, whereas Kakuranger contained more comedy and was pretty over-the-top cheesy on purpose. The case is more like Kakuranger is based on (somewhat) traditional ninpo "magic," and Hurricanger was based more on the popular conception of "awesome ninjaz, lol" and mixed with technology.

Suprisingly the latter didn't become this seasons downfall but when it came time for the awesome that is Aba and later Boukenger, all hell was raised, and still sort of remains.
