Spoiler Alert
This is confirmed news about the final arc of Gekiranger. Read at your own risk.
Episodes 39-42
The Pandas in Jan's forest are kidnapped by Sugu, and they send a message to RoboTough in the hopes that Jan will get it. RoboTough plays the message, and a beautiful female Panda requests the assistance of a great general, one who fought in the GenJyuKen wars.
Jan meets up with the general, who is now a hermit living in the Sahara Desert. He reveals that he is a survivor of the Great GenJyuKen Purge years earlier. Unlike the evil GenJyuKen users in the RinJyuDen, this hermit is one who uses GenJyuKen for good. Many years before, the good GenJyuKen users were the dominant ones, but the evil GenJyuKen users, who were hiding in the shadows all this time and planning, made their move and invaded the GenJyuKen Temple, resulting in the massacre of the majority of the good GenJyuKen users. The evil GenJyuKen users then established the Multinational GenJyuKen Empire, spreading terror in a total of 5 continents.
The hermit reveals that he knew Jan's father, and that Jan's father was a stellar GenJyuKen user before he died at the hands of a traitor of the good GenJyuKen known as Sugu Dan. Jan learns GenJyuKen from the hermit, and they leave the desert and travel to Jan's forest, where they meet Sugu. Sugu reveals that the forest is actually an ancient GenJyuKen battle station, and it has the power to destroy a planet-sized object. He demonstrates its powers by firing a beam powered by Genki at Mars and utterly destroys it. Thereafter, Jan proceeds to rescue the Pandas, while the hermit holds Sugu off. They exchange some dialogue as follows:
Sugu: "When we last met, I was the student. Now, I am the master."
Hermit: "Only a master of evil, Sugu."
(Note: Whenever Sugu speaks, he wheezes, apparently because of an injury he received years earlier that required him to replace his real lungs with mechanical ones.)
Sugu and the hermit continue fighting, and after Jan returns with the Pandas, the hermit smiles and sees that his task is finished, and allows Sugu to kill him. However, the hermit just disappears when Sugu strikes, and all that is left of him is his cloak. Jan screams, but is dragged by the Pandas to their secret ship in the forest. The ship is shaped like a tree, and it is the Pandas' emergency escape vehicle to be used evil strikes the forest, such as in the case of Sugu, or poachers. Sugu pokes the cloak and finds it puzzling that the hermit disappeared. Later, Jan meets up with the GenJyuKen Rebellion, made up of a lot of pandas who oppose the evil of the GenJyuKen Empire. They form attack squads, with names such as Gold Team and Red Team. With all their tree-ships, they attack the forest, and find that the forest is now airborne. Jan suddenly hears the words of the hermit, who tells him to let go and let his Genki guide him. Jan fires two missiles into a meter wide hole at the bottom of the floating forest, and it explodes.
Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that Sugu was in a tree-ship of his own, and he killed many Pandas. After seeing Jan destroy the forest, Sugu remarks that "the Genki is strong in this one".
Episodes 43-45
Jan continues fighting off RinRinShi at the Rebel base in the North Pole, and he escapes in a tree-ship to find a great master of GenJyuKen. He finds him in a swamp in Asia, a green-skinned fellow who had not been in the sun for 2 long, or is a relative of Piccolo, whichever you prefer. Jan begins learning GenJyuKen from him, but senses the other 4 rangers captured in a GenJyuKen city in the clouds. His master tells him not to go, but he insists that he has to save his friends. He leaves in his tree-ship and journeys to the city in the clouds.
In the city, Ran and company manage to free themselves, while Jan meets up with Sugu. An intense battle ensues, resulting in Jan losing his right hand. Sugu tries to convince Jan to defect to the evil form of GenJyuKen, but Jan refuses, yelling in anger that he knows Sugu was the one who killed his father. At this moment, Sugu dramatically reveals:
"No, Jan, I am your father."
Jan cannot believe his ears, and yells out in confusion and frustration. Sugu tries to move towards him, but Jan jumps off the clouds. Fortunately, he is saved in the nick of time by Ran and company in a tree-ship. However, he notices that Gou is missing. Ran tearfully reveals that Gou had been frozen by Sugu in the clouds and was taken by a poacher. The poacher was to deliver him to a great Japanese Yakuza boss whom Gou had offended in the past. However, Ran does not reveal her final few moments with Gou, which she remembers with a bittersweet tinge in her heart.
Ran (Prior to Gou becoming a huge block of ice): (tearfully) "I love you!"
Gou: (Smiles) "Maitta ze. I know."
The next time Ran sees Gou, he is encased in a huge block of ice, with his final smile to Ran etched in the lines of his face.
In the tree-ship, Jan and company begin to formulate a plan to rescue Gou and defeat the evil GenJyuKen Empire.
Elsewhere, in the RinJyuDen, Rio finishes his transformation into the GenJyuKen emperor. He has no Beast Man form, and he now looks old and wrinkled. His skin is an unhealthy white, the skin on his face droops down in layers, and his teeth and fingernails are yellowed. He wears a long cloak with a hood covering his face, leaving it in darkness. Taking his seat at the head of the GenJyuKen Empire, he gives orders for the final showdown witht he GenJyuKen Rebellion.
(By the way, the GekiJyuKen users have been assimilated into the GenJyuKen Rebellion, and are now proud to be a part of it.)
My friend George hasn't sent me the scripts for the final heated conclusion of Gekiranger, but when he does, I'll be sure to post it up.
THIS IS ALL REAL. FIERCE RED HAS ALSO CONFIRMED IT WITH HIS OWN SOURCES.
