So who here reads/watches any JoJo's Bizarre related stuff? Currently I'm reading Part 4 (I've really been neglecting it) and Steel Ball Run. I've also been playing the Phantom Blood game which plays like God Hand but it is so much harder for all the wrong reasons.

Don't know what it's all about? Well then you have google or...

The complete collection of translated JoJo manga works. You're on your own if you want to play the multitude of video games or watch the OVAs.

Because of the 2 OVAs and the PS fighting game, my favorite is the Stardust Crusaders arc.

The OVA's really do not do Part 3 justice, they're horribly rushed and the 2000 OVA is poorly animated. Both of them have pretty bad voice acting in English and Japanese. Not to mention how much they crammed together and cut out a large portion of the plot. I'm surprised Araki let these OVAs slide but practically banned anyone from even seeing the Phantom Blood movie.

Heritage to the Future is still fun as hell today, it just needs to remove Petshop and the game would be so much more balanced.

Thanks for posting that video. It made me feel nostalgic for JJBA. I can't decide who my favorite character is, though.

And the the thing about Araki is so true. That man doesn't age. I wouldn't be too shocked if he did have a stone mask tucked away somewhere.

I think he's just a master of Hamon and it keeps him from aging like it did with Lisa Lisa, Straights, and Joseph.

Loved the comics, hated the OVA though. I do wonder why when they adapt or use Jojo for video games or whatever they seem to tend to go towards the Stardust Crusader storyline rather then the others. IMO, Battle Tendancys and Joseph were the best arc.

Stardust Crusaders was the most popular part. You're also forgetting abou the fairly recent Vento Aureo and Phantom Blood beat-em-ups on the PS2.

Most of Part 3's popularity is in the west, Japan just likes the characters of Part 3. From what I've seen part's 4, 5, and 7 are the most popular in Japan and parts 2 and 3 are more popular in western territories.

Part 3 just works the best for fighting games and RPGs. The only reason the first OVA was made for Part 3 is because it was the latest part at the time.

There was a game and movie for Part 1 though.
