No doubt. But really the only worthwile story to come out of Spielban was the Lady Helen arc. Where as the other shows were loaded with killer stories, especially Juspion. My opinion of course.

What stories come out of the Space Shariff series? Much of it was just filler with repetitive action, Spielban I found improved on both. Only a handful I found interesting, heck my favorite episode of Gavan is when just random crap happens to him (ep 15) since most of the rest was dull.

Shaider had the strongest of storylines of all of them which I believe didnt get started until the 15th ep or so.

I'm currently watching Spielban as the final part to the VR Troopers originals. This one is very hard to find completely: on Veoh, the first half of the series is RAW Japanese, but starting on episode 27, the rest is in Portuguese. Does anyone know where I can watch the remainder of the series, but in its original Japanese language? Switching from one language to another is really discouraging; I had to skip three entire episodes because of that.

You can probally buy a bootlegged set off some Toku DVD dealers if they still exist. I may have some links if you are interested, same people I got my set from many years ago.
