I was reading the papers this morning (The Toronto SUN) and there was an article on the new Elm Street and how it SMASHED Friday the 13th in ticket sales. So the production company (Platinum Dunes?, I think) has officially put a Friday the 13th sequel on the sidelines for an Elm Street II sequel.

Any thoughts?.

The Friday the 13th remake was a fun watch for me. The Elm street remake was a depressing snooze fest.

The hellraiser remake got killed. Last I heard the studio involved wanted to make a bunch of changes, so Barker pulled the plug.

Nope, but I'm guessing it's not much more coherent than the film since making sense isn't really Clive Barker's strong suit.
