Japanese Penpals

It's been a LONG time since I last had a penpal relationship with people in Japan. All my former Japanese penpals have gone (a long time ago now), I think it's because they're really busy with general stuffs..

So I'm thinking about looking for some new Japanese friends again. One problem is though, the Yorihuzi site is currently shut down and has been shut down for a long time now, and I think it's turned into a spamfest too because I once (a long time ago) recieved a message from someone who's not even Japanese, who says she's "looking for love" (or something, I can't remember, it's been a long time since I deleted it).

So, anybody want to suggest a website where I can find Japanese penpals?

Alternatively, is it possible to do this on MySpace too?

I use mixi, its a Japanese type of Myspace. I don't use it often but there's a lot of Japanese on their in the Learn to Speak English communities that want to have penpals to help improve their english and help you with japanese.

Very nice looking website.

Shame it's all in Japanese though. My computer can't read Japanese characters and it still hasn't had this thing installed yet. And my Japanese is still on the naff side, so I guess helping Japanese people out with their English seems out of the question.

Oh well, guess I'll try MySpace. If people all around the world use MySpace I don't see why Japan shouldn't too.

Mixi is indeed awesome. I can even track anyone who visits my page with its 足あと feature that MySpace doesn't have.

Nope. My IME has went on the fritz and I can't find my XP disc to fix it x_X

Download a copy of XP off of a torrent website. Burn to disk, use it.
