JANPERSON.... For Justice - Talkback

I reached the debut of Billgoldy. At first I wasn't too sure if Tatewaki Ryusaburo of the Tatewaki Consorm would be good as Billgoldy because he was the comedic villian but everything changed in the later episodes and he took a completely serious turn which was GODLY.

Sugata Shun does a bad ass mean guy and I find it fits the Billgoldy villian perfect. Billgoldy is to Janperson like what Black Beet was to Blue Beet in B-Fighter.

Now with Jiro Okamoto doing the Billgoldy stunts it just made the character that much more badass and that much more favourable. From the clips I've seen of upcoming episodes and battles, There might be a good chance that Billgoldy becomes a serious runner up in Best Metal Hero Villians.

I've watched a couple of episodes a while ago but those are somewhere in the 40s. Its really nice to see Changeman's Change Griffen as one of the villains.

Janperson, Gun Gibson, and the villian known as Billgoldy.

Final 10 episodes remaining.

Honestley, I'm surprised at how good this series actually is. I originally wrote it off in the beginning because the first 10 or so episodes weren't that good, but I can honestley say the same for B-Fighter. Once I saw B-F's true potential (in ep #10) I fell in love with the series instantly and it became my #1 series beating out Kamen Rider Black.

Now with Janperson, It's got the same style feel as the Blue SWAT/B-F/B-F Kabuto era of the Metal Heroes which is awesome.

There is an on going fued between George Makabe (Change Griffon) and Gun Gibson. Makabe killed Gibson's robotic gf and now he's out for vengeance. In their battle in ep #38, Makabe KILLED Gibson, I was in total fucking shock. Luckily by the end of the episode Gibson's creator gave Kaoru (JP's creator) a new chip to revive him. All that did was up the stakes and make the next encounter between Makabe and Gibson more epic.

Super Science Network, the 3rd villian group which is lead by Reiko (aka Black RX's Mariboron) is pretty much thrown in there for filler episodes which ain't that much.

Now, Tatewaki/Billgoldy and Janperson's fued is freakin' wicked. Anything I think it can come close to is Black vs. Shadow Moon, Blue Beet vs. Black Beet, Juspion vs. Madgallant. By my count they are both even in wins between eachother. Each time they clash it's something memorable. Jiro Okamoto is a fucking GOD when it comes to fight scenes. I don't think there has ever been one I didn't like. I'm hoping and have heard that the final encounter between JP and BG is an epic one. I cannot wait.

At first I didn't know what to think with a series where the main heroes were robots and there were not transformations (excluding Billgoldy). But it's seriously pretty different and cool and something new to be honest.

One thing I really love about the suit designs are the lips on the helmets (ala Zyuranger style).

So yeah, Janperson caught me completely off guard.

Strong, epic, and dramatic finale for Janperson.

Lots of Arcs in the series. A good group of characters. Billgoldy was GOD.

Overall I give this series a B+

This also completes my Metal Hero genre viewing. Now it's time for some Classic Sentai.

Billgoldy was eventually killed but yelled "I'll be back!" which I think he also said in the team up JP did with B-Fighter.

Janperson was dead for a few minutes but later revived himself FOR JUSTICE.

The final battle between the 2 was in the dark rainy night. Awesome fighting.

Gun Gibson's girlfriend who was killed by Makabe earlier on in the series was revived to battle Gun Gibson. Imagine fighting ur loved one?. She was then blown up and fatally destroyed along with Gibson's arm.
