I, once again, bring you a polling from that oh so interesting Country of Japan, showing how they view certain aspects of their own society.

This one polled Women on what sign's would alert them to their Man being a Moe-loving, CD buying, Waifu-having Otaku (a quick note to newcomer's, the term "Otaku" has far more negative connotations in Japan than it does in the west).

Ladies don't seem to like it when you put on a Fasletto voice and jam to the OP to Digimon Xross Wars. :laugh: For safety, toss some AKB48 in there.

#8 - Wants to be called by a Anime-styled Nickname
Yeah, i wouldn't ask her to call you "Dono" or "Master"

#7 - Uses Manga-style words to express sounds/feelings
If you heart is beating fast, don't blurt out "DOKI-DOKI", just pant (and don't say "fumu-fumu" while doing that ether).

#6 - Uses Speech patters from Anime
Yeah, Don't toss "da-nyaa" on the end of your sentences. :sweat:

#5 - Grin's creepy-like while reading Manga
More so with Moe manga. Grinning whilst reading Death Note is ok since Light Yagami is a Magnificent Bastard.

#4 - Has a "Waifu"
I'd also ditch those Chara Body Pillows.....>_>

#3 - Talk's at length about how cute a Anime Charatcer is
Chick's usually don't like it when you talk about how cute another girl is, 3D or 2D.

#2 - Has all the moves to a (anime) song down pat at for use at Concerts
The closest i can liken this to is Knowing all the moves to the Magiranger ED and doing it perfectly at a live concert

#1 - Always wear's a Anime Shirt and/or always has Anime "goods" on his person.
When you wear your obsession on your chest/elsewhere on your body, it acts as a natural girl repellant. :coolshades:

Lol I have nothing to do with any of this list (I actually find that stuff weird) except number #1, I have a patch of Goku's Symbol during the Namek saga on the back of my favorite jacket.

Number 5 makes me laugh. :laugh:

And iono....don't really say some of those things unless I'm in a discussion about something.

"doki-doki" is actually a legit Japanese word, I don't see how it's anything related to anime and PUH-LEASE, my gal friend sings anime songs everytime we go to the karaoke. it's not like there's no female anime fans at all in Japan.

My girlfriend can tolerate #10. Hell, we do it together once or twice in Karaoke (also for the record, none of us DARE to sing AKB or SNSD to lesser extent)

1-9 if I did any of that, she'd dump me in front of nearest psych ward.

Also, anime songs at karaoke is OK, but anime shirts aren't.... That makes no fucking sense.

Remember now, the guys they are asking about in this are the Stereotypical, sweaty, obsessive and possessive, Moe consuming guys who 9 times out of 10 can't get a real girl so they bury themselves in the Blob's, and those that do manage to land a girl end up scaring her off for one (or more) of the reasons listed.

Well, makes more sense in THAT contexts. I'm thankful we don't have moe crap characters on shirts here.:coolshades:
