To the best of what I remember, Hibiki had some kind of Tuning Fork as a Henshin Device

Hibiki and Fellow Taiko Oni had the Tuning Fork, Henshin Onsa OnKaku

Ibuki and Fellow Brass/Wind Instrument Oni had the Whistle, Henshin OniBue Onteki

Todoroki, Zanki and the other String Oni had the String Brace, Henshin Kigen Onjou


As long as you were the right type on Oni, any of the particular Device toward your type would work. Plus they usually stay on the Oni's Belt/Arm and were easily hidden without a problem.

It makes sense in episodes 1 and 2, Although in 3 when it started apearing in his hand it just is a repeat of the Kabuto Confusion
