I never said I was going to say anything nice, just how it actually is. justice and compassion are almost always perverted and twisted for someones own gain(Stalin, Nepoleon, Julius Ceaser, just to cite a few of them.). it's repeated infinitely throughout history. If it was as easy as we think it could be, by our generation it would have been wiped out.

The right course of action is to realize the flaw isn't in just a specific few rednecks in the Appalachian mountains but in everybody. you cause it, I cause it, everyone causes it. people need to stop thinking things in a black/white manner about things and realize it's gray and in human hands.

Human beings are selfish, greedy little things which will do anything for themselves. Do I like to think like this? No, but I'm not going to look away and be ignorant. it's the truth of the matter and there is nothing we can do about it other then Lobotomizing the entire populace into not having free will.

You know why this keeps happening because people don't learn. Yes there are always going to be people that try to subvert the system for their own ends, all that means is that everyone has to try make sure these people don't prosper. And if you are just going to resign yourself to a self-imposed hell stop congratulating yourself just because you can see the forest through the trees. Furthermore it doesn't matter that we can't effect the world, we can still better ourselves which is the least we can do. I know damn well that I am not the best person in the world, but everyday I try just a little more to be better than I was the day before. I will probably not be successful in bettering myself before I die, but that doesn't bother me because of society. The true power of society is that it is the collective sum of people's existence, the attitudes of today were shaped by the actions of yesterday. What I learn in my lifetime I will pass onto others, and in turn they will do the same and so on and so on. And by just throwing up your arms in defeat you are not just damning yourself but future generations.
