A young woman named Sarah is pregnant when she gets into a car accident which kills her husband instantly. 4 months later, and she's ready to deliver. It's Christmas Eve, and she's going to check into the hospital the next morning. She is still quite depressed over losing her husband, and decides to spend the evening alone. But soon, she is being attacked by a mysterious woman, who will stop at nothing to get to her. What does she want? Why did she choose Sarah to attack?

Wow. This French film is one of the goriest, most disturbing movies I have ever seen. This seriously makes Hostel look like Sesame Street. I could not even watch parts of this movie. However, it's not just a 'gorno' film. It's got amazing tension, great directing, first rate acting, and the fx are incredible. This is a back-to-basics slasher film that is so well executed, and so incredibly well done, that it will stick with you for days.

This movie will repulse all but the most hardcore gore hounds tho. But if you can stomach it, its a great watch.

Okay, because I'm NEVER going to watch this....PM me w/ why the crazy chick wants to kill the pregnant lady.....damn curiosity.

Maybe it's just me, but I'm getting really tired of these trends in horror movies lately. It's all either these ridiculous "gritty" shakey-camera **** gore/torture movies or incredibly cheesey, unscary ripoffs of Asian horror movies that were bad to begin with. :nono:

I'll take your word for it because you know what you're talking about. I'm just bitter because I miss 80's slasher and zombie movies.
