images won't show

I have tried to post an image of a photo of myself but it won't show (at least to me-)

can anyone else see it?

Go to the image itself, right click and go down to properties. Copy the link and there you go.

Yeah, sometimes it's better to copy the link directly from the image itself, then linking it from the website...don't know why.

Yeah. It's much better to host it via Imageshack or Photobucket since they load faster than hotlinked images.

especially as an alterntative to hotlinking from sites like cow-spot, which never seem to appear for me, even when I follow the link. in fact, I can't even access cow-spot.co.uk without getting a 403 error. wonder if it's like that for other people

Same here. I can't view the images when posted here on HJU but I can view them perfectly fine if I go directly on the image's link.
