I'm Watching Shaider.

Tsuburaya played Colonel Miyata in Ultraman Dyna and a TV station director KCB in Ultraman Gaia. He also played the role of his father in the Ultraman Tiga episode where they went back in time.

I saw those episodes before when Ultraman Tiga and Dyna were aired in our country(same TV station where Shaider and newer Kamen Rider shows are being aired)..

I'm liking this show more and more.. and not just because of Annie's constant panty shots.

I LOVE the retro look and feel. I also love how even tho many of these characters are dressed in the epitome of retarded costumes, they play the role so seriously and stick so committed to it.

I love when they open portals to the "Strange Realm". By their word, it's made of atomic particles and is 6000 degrees. :thumbs:

What made you want to check out the show? See the opening or a trailer or just random impulse?

I've had copies just sitting around for a while now and our resident, Dr. Phil started talking up the show. I sadly admit mention of panty shots did peak my interests just that much more.

But there's that, the lack of regular GekiRanger coming out, and talk of Shaider being the inspiration of Robocop and myself finding a few extra 30 minute blocks open in my day that just finally broke the camel's back and I started watching it.

I'm looking forward to gettting past these opening episoes and into the real plot. I'd like to really see what kinda character interactions these guys could get into and what the main plot will actually be.
