...Listening to TZ's latest podcast, and I have a bone to pick, several bones to pick.
Its' no secret here in particular I despise everything TZs' adminitration team stand for, to me, they, not their forum community (least not anymore), are not broad animation fans. Absolutley never will be.
They have a loyalty to specific shows, but tend to thrash talk shows that they were raised on, its' perfectly fine if there too bitter to enjoy them, but when they say lines like "I can't convince them this was garbage", and so and so foruth, thats' when I just say "what the **** are you thinking?"
Why do you feel the need to convince people that He-Man sucked? What if some people (and theres' more He-Man fans out there than you'd care to admit that actually act VERY professional, have valid constructive reasons that the show was better written and animated) can talk about He-Man as if its' more than what you assume it is, and not out of some overexaggeration and out of blind alliegence. He-Man.org is far superior in design and content than TZ.
This bandwagon is getting fucking old, its' the same ****, "wah, those shows sucked, reallisticlly", reallistcly, you guys only kiss Bruce Timms' ass, reallisticly, you guys always thrash the classic HB era and tell parents to prevent their children from watching it in favour of ANIME, ANIME, BATMAN, OR ANIME. Reallisticly, you sons of bitchies are working AGAINST the animation industry wheerever you are aware of it or not, and you probably, because you're nothing more than corporate spokespeople making it out that WB, Disney, and Japan are the only big guns worth paying attention to. Airbender is getting no real publicity from you morons, why?
Oh yeah, Nick clearly does'nt pay you to speak for them, you guys have a strained relationship with CN also, hence no review for Codename: Kids Next Door, even probably if the movie is released. And why? Because your precious Teen Titans lasted a good five years. Get over it you sad pricks.
I'm not the only one who still finds merit in the original Transformers, which is better than Galaxy Force, Micron, and Superlink without remotley being as long if neccersary, I still find merit in the original TMNT, I still find merit in Jem (as a lot of people on your community doesr), I still find merit in those shows OBJECTIVLY, I dont' watch blindly.
Your site is becoming more and more hated by the day, your community drones can hide it, you can ignore it, but on Wikipedia, TV.COM, TVRage, you are all hailed as the most criticised animation site out there, and I will continue to exposure your **** for the world to see until your staff step down and allow fair fans to take the reins, and you can balance what you represent, but that will never happen.
This is not the rant of somone from their mothers' basement, this is not a rant from someone who only likes 1980s' cartoons, because I love every aspect of animation if it proves to be of solid merit, I judge it on its' pros and cons, from your constant dismissals, you only focus on the cons of these shows
I know they constantly preach that the opinions of TZ are not neccersarily the opinions of everyone else, and in a hilariously sad way, there right, noone else has these opinions, and they can't stand that, so they've made it their buisness, those in charge have made it their buisness, to ram their distaste of what they were raised on down our throats, and into the throats of whatever innocent sap falls for the duplicity.
Stop trying to make yourselves look like these uber gods who know everything about animation and think your standards, what you think are classic, are the end all/be-all of animation opinion, you breathe it on the review boards, you show it in what you update the most in hosted content (DCAU), and even more unfortunate for far as people like He-fans go, you make yourselves look like you're saner fans than we are. We're all equals, until you grasp that, you mean nothing, and are nothing.
The people who can discuss, constructivly, with no bias attached, like me, because I can watch anything present now and judge if its' good and bad as I see fit, are better animation fans than you will ever be.
You are not broad animation fans, your forums are, you are not. If you can't be, CAN'T be broad enough to find the positives and negatives in a cartoon you watched as a child, you dont' deserve to be in this industry, you'd make a great spokesperson for the products of a corporation...OH WAIT, YOU ARE CORPORATE SPOKESPEOPLE....

I aplogise for the comments, I know Keith goes to TZ a great deal, I know he probably could'nt care less about what real problems this site has with how it operates, I know it even has positives that I keep pointing out to prove I dont' have a grudge against the site, just their team that operate behind it, but this is getting out of control, I'm a concerned animation fan, and I am trying to earn certain shows more respect than there currently being given
