Just wondering where people who enjoyed Ultraman Next and Nexus would have liked to see Ultraman in the N-Project universe go if had been allowed to have at least one more series or movie.
For myself, I always kind of saw the N-Project stuff as getting a glimpse of the world before the days of something like G.U.T.S or the Science Patrol and the brighter future that Ultraman is more known for. Sort of like a prequel in a way, with the Night Raiders and TLT being what an organization that would evolve into something a billion times more positive. Think of it as what the Science Patrol was in much darker and cynical days with the events of Next and Nexus illustrating what leads into a very transitional period for that group and in that Earth's history.
So for the next series I would have liked to have seen something that took place many years after the events of Nexus where you have a sort of prototype version of the Science Patrol arcetype that is much less polished than would you would typically see. Their hardware is still rough and they have some public relations issues but they believe in what they are doing and want to make it work. Monsters are a regular occurance but nothing truly kaiju sized until we start our series.
As a vauge character idea for the new dunamist, I was thinking of someone who would be in a traditional mold at least in that he's a pilot with the group. But when he starts out he's a bit on the skeptical side about being part of it. It's not an assignment he asked for and to some degree is mistrustful. However deep down he want's to believe in something greater than himself but finds it difficult to do so. So his real power truly shines through when he lets himself go and dares to believe not only in what he can really do but what others can as well. Basically his real potential would come from having the guts to believe in hope.
As for a concept visual or powers I'm not entirely sure. But I think I would definately want to continue in the vein of the Junius forms.
