This thread is for both Halloween 2009 and the newest SAW movie.

We are only a few weeks away. I grabbed 4 GIANT Pumpkins. This will be the first time I've grabbed pumpkins for Halloween in about 7 years so it's excited. Can't wait for the pumpkinseeds salted to death. Yum.

So besides Keith going as a black minority again this year what is everyone else doing/going as this year?.

Since I work in Party City as one of my side jobs...I couldn't stop laughing at the RPM Costumes...in addition, the costume company that the store is contracted under, well, it seems they forgot to deliver us the RPM masks...so we've been mixing the RPM uniforms with the Myster Force, Operation Overdrive, and Jungle Fury Helme...err...Masks.:laugh:

Now there's some "kitbashing" for this Halloween season.:buttrock:

It's like doing what Kamen Rider Double does with his half changes.

We're actually making a thread that pertains to the newest "Saw" movie? Jeez, Shaun...have you no class. I, for one, will not be seeing this god awful P.O.S. I can understand the first 2(heck, 3), but right now, they're just milking the franchise for what it's worth and things can only go downhill from here.

Well, I just bought the movie Trick 'r Treat, and planning on watching with a female companion come around Halloween. Also hitting up some local haunted house attractions with some people. Nothing special.

I must concur about the inferior quality of the "Saw" movies. I really don't see the appeal of that kind of "torture-porn" horror.


The series should've been put to death seven installments ago.

I always thought about going as a Ghostbuster, but I currently don't have the money to make the proton pack I wanted. Hell, I even drew up plans.

I've used so many costumes over the years, but there's one thing I haven't done yet:

Yep, that's my costume this year, for a little while I guess.
I'm also throwing a HUGE party with the song ''Halloween'' by ''Helloween'' all over the place all the time (anything more fitting?), it's an optional-costume party, people can go however they wish.
I think I'm also going old school and give the cementary a little visit before all of that.

Saw is the only respectable horror franchise that the filmmaking industry has going for it at the moment. All these people that play up this "torture-porn" stereotype are missing the point; these are horror-thrillers with brains (most of the time), and you could pretty much assign a "______-porn" blanket to any kind of genre. With the exception of the wasted $9 that was Saw V, these films have never disappointed in keeping the twists and mysteries unfolding, and playing the cliffhanger cards as close to the vest as they have been is actually pretty genius in a 40's radio serial kind of way. The fact that they keep filling seats every single Halloween says the most. Even though the last one was basically a waste of time, I'll still be seeing Saw VI on opening night.

Knight, I've got an interesting theory about the twist in this upcoming film, if you're interested to hear it...
