Considering many more Wiis were being shipped than the PS3, chances of getting a Wii would be better.
But still, it'll all depend on how many the stores around you are getting, and how many preorders have been placed around you.

Every store within a 20 mile radius has a "No preorders - First come, first serve" deal going on. Really annoying since I was expecting not to have to wait in long assed lines.

Good luck. I personally think you have a good chance of finding one if you work out a plan. Yes, that means getting up early and getting in line. But, even if you don't do that, the shortage isn't nearly as bad as the PS3's so you can probably find some laying around in obscure places that other people don't think of. That PS3 stuff was ridiculous, especially for that price, and for what you get. Great list of launch titles huh? Not really. The system itself isn't even that magnificent. At least playing around with the Wii is a unique experience.

Not to say that they're going to be perfect, but if there were one console brand I would trust to deliver a trouble free product, it would be Nintendo.
